Exchange rate and development of foreign trade of Russian Federation

In this bachelor thesis evolution of exchange rate and foreign trade of Russia in 1994-2014 is discussed. The work brings information about evolution of exchange rate policy of Russia in this period. In the practical part problems of bad diversification of Russia export and dependence analysis of exchange rate RUB/USD and oil world prices are discused. Also monetary crisis from 2014 in Russia and its impact on exchange ratio and foreign trade is analyzed.
Exchange rate arrangements in transition economies

The choice of the exchange rate regime is the topic substantially discussed in the economic literature and especially it is discussed in the case of the transition economies. The aim of the thesis is to make a survey of the impact of exchange rate regimes on these economies. Within the thesis there are analyzed the regimes and the conomies of the four transition countries, namely Poland, Hungary, Czech republic and Lithuania. The thesis assesses the benefits and costs of the individual regimes in each country since the beginning of the economic transformation up to nowadays.
The role of exchange rate regimes in monetary crises

This thesis is devoted to the role of exchange rate regimes in monetary crises. The first chapter elucidates basic terms concerning exchange rate, e.g. quotation, convertibility, central parity. In the second chapter there is every particular regime and its role in crisis described in detail. The term "monetary crisis", its reasons and consequences are explained in the third chapter. This is put into practise in the fourth chapter, which deals with the Czech crown's monetary crisis in 1997. The last chapter analyses the impact of the implementation of the supranational currency on the trend of the macroeconomic indicators.
Analysis of Exchange Rate Regimes under Conditions of Economic Transition

This paper concentrates on the analysis of currency crises in economies undergoing economic transition. The papaer begins with a brief introduction of contemporary exchnage rate regimes, which is followed by an analysis of the history of the World monetary system. The following chapters concentrate on the analysis of the monetary development in selected transitional economies. In case of the the first one, The Czech Republic, the analysis includes the period from the times of the centrally planed economy, through the initial transformation and the currency crisis of 1997 to the present day. In case of the other countries included in this paper, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Icelnad, the analysis concentrates on the current critical development in these economies. Apart from the analysis of the selected currency crises, the objective of this paper is to draw conclusions relevant to the future development of currency policies in the transitional economies.
Comparison of Alternative Exchange Rate Regimes

The aim of this bachelors' thesis is to describe and compare alternative exchange rate regimes. Firstly, the problem of classification of exchange rate regimes is analyzed, followed by the description of main phases of evolution of the international monetary system and the comparison of those phases by using the concept of "impossible trinity". Moreover, the description and analysis of alternative exchange rate regimes is provided and also the validity of "bipolar view" is scrutinized, also by describing some concrete examples of economies operating under specific exchange rate regimes.
