Inventory management in selected company

Presented diploma thesis deals with issue of inventory management and with analyses of inventory management in selected company NOVEM Car Interior Desing k.s.
In opening theoretical part, there are defined basic terms dealing with inventory, its management, structure, cost related to purchacing of inventory, reason of inventory management and its inspection. Further there are described information systems used for inventory management.
Practical part includes presentation of company NOVEM Car Interior Design k.s. seated in Město Touškov and also detailed analyses of inventory management in named company; this part also incorporates inventory valuation. There is also described use of SAP information system on selected real cases. In the end of practical part there is evaluated effectiveness of inventory managenent of investigated company and as well there are proposed improving actions.

Stocks in Accounting

The aim of this work is to evaluate the records keeping, accounting and evaluating of the stocks and to analyse the stocks from this point of view in a specific accounting entity and finally the aim is to present possible suggestions for the preventive precautions. The work is divided into two parts. The first part is focused on the theoretical knowledge of the field of stocks. The second one is focused on the application of the experience gained in the theoretical field into practice.

The thesis deals with the issue of inventories in companies. The thesis describes inventories according to the current and amended legislation in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, the thesis describes accounting operations, activities and processes associated with inventories in practice. Focusing on two companies characterized by their cooperation, but different in their activities, the thesis analyzes the chosen fields of inventories and related activities, including the specifics resulting from mutual cooperation.

The bachelor thesis deals with stock from the perspective of Czech accounting. An essential part of this thesis is a theoretical view of inventories as a basis for subsequent analysis of final accounts. The theoretical part is accompanied by schemes and practice examples for a better visualization. The aim is to demonstrate which accounting methods are used in stock. The entire thesis is conducted from two points of view, from the perspective of business companies and from the perspective of manufacturing companies. The conclusion summarizes the results of the analysis.

Inventories in the distribution company

The thesis deals with the issue of stocks in companies engaged in commercial activities. The aim of the thesis is in the first instance describe theoretically the reserves from the perspective of Czech accounting standards and International accounting standards and their accounting treatment under Czech law. Next, the thesis describe the activities associated with supplies in practice. In the second part, all these activities are evaluated on a concrete example of a company that deals with the distribution of semiconductors, passive and electromechanical components and integrated techniques. With regards to the activity of the analyze company, the thesis presents selected specifics that are associated with areas of inventory.

Diploma thesis focuses on problematic of inventories from two points of views. First one is focused on Czech Accounting Legislation (CAL) whereas second one is focused on International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS). Diploma thesis consists of many examples to acquaint readers with given topic. Attention is given to definitions, characteristics of inventories, inventories under CAL and IFRS, evidence of inventories and techniques of inventories valuation.

The aim of bachelor thesis was to compare the records held by the various accounting programs. Identify the differences between the selected programs to determine their advantages and disadvantages. It was therefore essential to examine the selected programs and learn how to treat them with users manuals. Then it was necessary to find out what the selected entity from the program requires.

The subject of the diploma thesis: "Inventories, and view their accounts according to IFRS and the Czech accounting standards" is to point out specific definitions and reporting of inventory according to Czech accounting legislation and International Financial Reporting Standards. The first part is focused on the general definition of inventory. The following specifications and inventory records in accordance with Czech and international legislation and theoretical examples of terminating focused on the issue of valuation of inventories, reporting changes in inventory and utility costs and species classification. The second part contains a practical study of inventory accounting in a particular company.
