Název diplomové práce: Occupational therapy program in the cognitive Day Care Centre of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine General University Hospital Abstract: Cognitive functions are an essential part of every individual's daily life. Day Care Centers focused on cognitive rehabilitation are still not yet availeble, well known and widespread in the Czech Republic. The diploma thesis focuses on rehabilitation programs for people with acquired brain injury. The main aim is provide an overview of therapeutic programs that focus on cognitive rehabilitation. The theoretical part of the work also deals with the issue related to the rehabilitation of cognitive function. The aim of the practical part is to verify the effect of intensive 4-week memory therapy in the cognitive program of patients with acquired brain injury at the Day Care Centers of the Charles University 1st Faculty of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine General Faculty Hospital. Use of ergotherapy in children's home

This bachelor's thesis called "Use ergotherapy in children's home" concerns subtitutional educational care with a special focus on children's home. Its theorecical part point sout specific features, typology and probleme of children who are involved in the substitutional educational care. It describes ergotherapy as a way of working with children placed in the children's home. It also describes how ergotherapy can be used for social skills development of the kids placed in these institutions due to the act number 109/2002. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis contains a suggestion of an ergotherapeutic programme which is focused both on an individul development as well as a group of children placed in the institutions of the substitutional educational care. The ergotherapeutic programme is designed for the communicational and cooperative development as well as establishing social interaction aminy children of the same age. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is creating a concept of an ergotherapeutic programme focused on development of the social skills such as communication, cooperation and establishing social interaction among children in children's homes. Occupational therapy application in addiction treatment

The Bachelor thesis: "Occupational therapy application in addition treatment" deals with medium-therm institucional treatment of dependants. The work contains justification of occupational therapy application in addition treatment. The theoretical part is devided to the two points. The part which deals with the addiction defines the main attributes of addiction, cause of addiction and addiction kinds. It defines in the organization of care for persons with addiction the treatment program for this target group with an emphasis on medium-term inpatient treatment, mentions phase of this treatment, concepts such as detoxification, dual diagnosis and combined therapy. It sets occupational therapy as part of treatment for people with addiction. The theoretical part is defined occupational therapy, defined its objectives, target groups, forms, techniques and describes the formation of the occupational therapy programme. The practical part is to specify the treatment of people with addiction at a particular facility with emphasis to the use of occupational therapy in this treatment. Use of ergotherapy with people with mental disabilities

This bachelor thesis examines how occupational therapy and occupational techniques are used in connection to people with mental disability. The work includes the topic of mental retardation and mental disability and furthermore characterises occupational therapy as one of many therapies used while working with people with disability or handicap from this disorder and its particular use when it comes to adults with mental disorder in special facility. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to present a specific occupational program in special facility Rajmonova in Prague which particularly focuses on development of cognitive functions of the clients and underlines the need for fulfilling activities "in terms of occupational therapy for the clients of the special facility.
Ergotherapy for pupils in the pracitcal classes

Bachelor Work called Ergotherapy for pupils in the practical classes looks into possibilities of using ergotherapy to the individual's development of social skills through games and handcrafts aktivity in practical classes pupils diagnosed with intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities and behavioral and sociocultural disadvantage pupils. The goal of work is to design an ergotherapy program for the pupils of practical classes, and demonstrate meaningfulness of using of ergotherapy for the development of social skills and checking its success through research methods of direct work with pupils and observation. The research results show improvements these pupils in the desired area.
