Biomass and waste gasification and cogeneration by the help of microturbine

This diploma thesis investigate the question of combined production of heat and power by the gasification of biomass. The introduction describes basic dilemma energy conversion from biomass. Further, special attention at the gasification technology and it´s usage at combined heat and power production is paid. The main section includes schematic proposal cycle with use of microturbine 80 [kWe] as well as basic calculation, which serves as a base for folowing project optimization. For discussed optimization is made concept of configuration, thermal and aerodynamics calculation for both heat exchangers B1 and B2. Last but not least these heat exangers were compared by different aspects such as influence of deposits on power transfer and pressure loss. At the end of the work calculated numeric values are discussed and the project of heat exchanger with it´s advantages for practise are summarised.

This thesis focuses on development of web application by current development trends interacting physical activity data get from mobile devices with web application, which is serving on evidence of energetic income and create final energetic balance. Created web application will serve to detailed analyse of energetic balance with estimate of weight lost or weight gain. Application was created for users of web portal KalorickeTabulky.cz using services of sport tracker.

Topic - Methods of affecting overweightness and obesity by applying non-pharmaceutical intervention with middle-aged women Goals - The goal is to lay out the methods of intervention in terms of reducing obesity and overweightness, by applying regime changes, or more specifically diets and appropriate physical excercises. Methods - While composing my thesis, I used the literary research method which uses printed and internet sources. Results - The success of regime changes in terms of obesity and overweightness shows only then, when we ensure higher energy usage. We have to change the lifestyle as well as apply a diet coupled with frequent physical activity, all of which should be based on the health state and actual physical abilities of the individual.
