Information System for Support of Sport Events Management
Tetur, Aleš ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of the work was to create an information system with integrated electronic timers of various types, according to the type of race. The information system is divided into two independent parts, namely frontend and backend. I used the Spring Boot framework to create the backend. To create the frontend, I used several technologies for creating advanced web user interfaces (Vuetify, VUE.js, HTML, CSS, JS). Communication between both parts is ensured using REST technology. For electronic timers, I used freely available ESP modules. Each timer is a separate and independent unit measuring the given discipline. Furthermore, wireless technology connects individual units to the central module. This central unit is then connected to the web system and automatically stores the achieved results. The measuring modules of the timer are connected to the boards I designed, which determine the measured quantity.

The main goal of this thesis was to create an information system with an integrated electronic timer for the events Rope climbing. For the information system, I used several technologies to create advanced web systems (HTML, CSS, PHP, JS, jQuery and MySql). I used a freely available Raspberry Pi 4 board for the electronic timer. The integration takes place using communication between the timer and the information system server. The timer also has two sensors. And that is the lower sensor and the upper sensor. For both, I used the ESP8266 board for communication with the timer, which is embedded in my designed printed circuit board.
