The thesis analyzes and describes recent global financial and economic crisis, some current economic problems and historical roots of the crisis. First passages of the work characterizes theoretical terms and historic economical crises, recessions and important economical events. Next part of the thesis is focused on events of the recent financial and economic crisis. The work contains description of the problems with financial innovations, rating agency, banks, modern capitalism and prevention of the crisis. The text also presents some new economical legal rules in USA and EU related to financial and economical crisis. Last chapter of the work is focused on the crisis of the European currency EURO and Greek economic situation.

It focuses on the genesis of the pre-crisis European economic governance, primarily on the Economic and Monetary Union, and on the performance of the EMU and the features of EEG before and during the crisis. It investigates the issues and challenges that arisen largely from the aftermath of the crisis such as imbalances on the Internal Market due to serious competitiveness issues between the Member States, lack of crisis management, financial supervision etc. The common cause of these problems, the insufficient economic governance is identified having source largely in the original design of EMU which was adopted largely for economic reasons but contemporary political limits restrained the Economic union and macroeconomic coordination provisions thus enabling the current situation. Analysis of companies producing Information systems in the situation of economic crisis

The thesis deals with the economic crisis and financial crisis of 2007 -- 2010. There is described the development of the economic situation during the economic crisis and the impact on individual sectors. The main attention is paid to the IT industry and specifically the market with business information systems. As a specific example demonstrating the impact of current crisis is selected company SAP, which operates in the field of business information systems nearly 40 years and is a world leader in business information systems. Various situations were analyzed during several economic recessions and compared with the current economic situation. Aim is to analyze the current situation, the impact on specific sectors, especially in the IT industry and producers of business information systems. The comparison of the development of gross domestic product in the European Union.

The essential theme of the bachelor thesis is the issue of gross domestic product. The first objective of the thesis is to compare the development of gross domestic product in the European Union in the years from 2005 to 2010. It also pays attention to the development of gross domestic product in the Member States that are most different from the average development in the European Union. The second objective of the thesis is to analyze the gross domestic product in accordance with the manufacturing method, thus in gross value added by particular sectors. Emphasis is put both on comparing each economic sector among Member States of European Union and also on comparison of the development of each economic sector in the period before and during the economic and financial crisis from 2007 to 2010. The result of the bachelor thesis is the designation of the years with the highest or lowest gross domestic product and also the assessment of Member States on witch the economic crisis had the biggest effect.
