The influence of the transverse stiffening of the arches of a double-track railway bridge in the dynamic response
Bureš, Vojtěch ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Martinásek, Josef (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is static and dynamic analysis of arches of a steel railway bridge and investigation of the influence of their stiffening. A shell model was created in Ansys, which was then loaded and statically checked according to the second-order analysis with inserted imperfections. The dynamic analysis focused on the influence of stiffening on the long-term service life of the structure. The results on models with and without arched stiffener were compared.
Industrial hall
Forman, Radek ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
Two-bay hall for warehouse and manufacturing purposes with supporting steel structure and thermally insulating sheating with width of 36 metres and lenght of 72 metres. The hall incorporates two overhead cranes with maximum load of 32 and 40 tonnes. The main supporting structure is a system of plate girders and beams. The beams are connected with hinges and are placed with intervals of 6 metres. The hall design is intended for 1st snowing area
Design of a one-span slab bridge
Sobková, Sára ; Tomečka, Petr (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
Subject of bachelor thesis is reconstruction of railway bridge on the route from Český Těšín to Ostrava-Svinov in km 6,482. The structure is located in the extraregion. There are two rail routes on the bridge and local road under the bridge. One-span slab reinforced consrete bridge is designed and placed on the rail as a replacement for bearings. the length of the bridge is 6 m. The sffects ot the load are calculated in the programe AxisVM and static calculation are made in the program Mathcad. Bending and shear steel is designed. Serviceability limit state is verified. Also the resistance of steel concrete to cyclic loading is calculated. Steel of the abuntment is designed to reduce the appearence of cracks above the working joint due to ahrinkage. Dynamic coefficient is verified.

Experimental study of horizontal forces of pedestrian dynamics
Urushadze, Shota ; Pirner, Miroš
At present similar detailed examination of pedestrian dynamics has been brought about chiefly by the requirements of determining the loads on footbridges. In their case – contrary to bridges – the magnitude of dynamic response is more important than that of static response, as it determines also the serviceability of the footbridge with reference to pedestrian comfort. The forces frequencies of step or strides for different walking velocities is the most important for the further analysis and analysis of the mechanisms.s.
