School clubs and their concepts

The thesis is focusing on details connected with the topic of school clubs, which we rank among school facilities for leisure education. It explains the meaning of basic concepts, describes the activities and function of the school club. It also analysis the documentation and activities of ten selected school clubs in three districts of the Pilsen Region. Final part of the thesis analysis the collected information. The aim of this work was to focus on the basic information related to school clubs and describe their importance. Further, on the basis of the obtained documentation, describe the operation and offer of selected school clubs.

Teacher training system. Focused on the area of the capital city of Prague

The professional development of teachers, which also includes the teacher's further education, is one of the main strategic objectives of the contemporary school system. This work examines which types and forms of further education are most frequently chosen. The work also investigates the processes of this kind of education at different types of schools - kindergarten, primary and secondary schools. The theoretical part of the work gradually focuses on the history and explanation of the basic terms and objectives of further education. In the following chapters the work concentrates on the legal background, the kinds and the forms of further education. The empirical part of the work makes statements on the basis of the research objectives. The text content analysis (of kindergarten annual reports and other records) is used in order to verify the statements. The research sample was randomly chosen from the representatives of kindergarten, primary and secondary schools. On the basis of the above mentioned research it is stated that the heads of primary and secondary schools act accordingly to the school regulations: which means that the evaluation of teacher training and further education is included in the annual reports of the schools. Lifelong Education as a Part of the Social System

The diploma thesis discusses about education of adult population, while pointing out necessity of education in any age. This thesis explain importance of education of the adult population, mention forms and possible methods which are used in this type of education the most. Besides the theoretical outcome there is practical aspect included as well in form of questionnaires. Investigation in form of research was focused directly on employees, who as well as on employers whose employees attended the program. In summary both parties consider adulthood gained knowledge as a great benefit to employee as well as employer. In any case, people with higher level of education have better chances of getting a possible job than those with no or low level of education.
