Quality of fuel atomization from small pressure-swirl atomizers

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá měřením charakteristik spreje z tlakové vířívé trysky za použití fázového doplerovského analyzátoru. Cílem měření bylo stanovit a porovnat charakteristiky spreje za použití různých kapalin a různých režimů tlaků a rozhodnout, jestli je možné nahradit kerosin biopalivy z pohledu kvality atomizace. Teoretická část se zabývá základy rozpadu kapalin z tlakových vířivých trysek a principy laserové anemometrie. Experimentální část popisuje testovací trať, provozní podmínky a nastavení experimentu. Výsledy obsahují vizualizaci spreje, velikostní rozložení kapek uvnitř spreje, profily rychlosti a Sautrova středního průměru za použití různých provozních podmínek jako je různá vzdálenost od trysky, rozdílný vstupní tlak a různé kapaliny.

Modeling and detection of SlowDrop attack

The work's main topic is a recently published slow DoS attack called SlowDrop. The work focuses on the subject of describing the current state of the DoS problem as a whole and the SlowDrop attack as well. It works with this theoretical basis during the implementation of it's own SlowDrop attack model. This model is tested in various scenarios and the outcome results are analyzed and constructively discussed. Furthermore defensive mechanisms against this threat and DoS attacks in general are proposed, specific methods shown and configurations recommended. These methods are followingly tested and evaluated. Last but not least the traffic of a SlowDrop attacker and a legitimate client with bad connection, which the SlowDrop attack is trying to immitate, are compared. From this comparison final conclusions of this work are drawn.

Sublethal effects of the insecticides neonicotinoids on spider's migration and predatory abilities

This research deals with impacts of pesticide substances on spider populations. In this case pesticides of the neonicotinoids classes were tested. Specific neonicotinoids were applied to different of spiders which were collected in various localities and at some stage of development - nymph, adult or subadult individuals. The diploma thesis analyzes and the documents the effects of neonicotinoids to spiders. The results show that some pesticides can have a significant negative effect to locomotion, predation, ballooning, drop or to spiders mortality. The economic result of the holding depending on price development - beef meat

The first phase this thesis deals with of agriculture and its two basic directions. I focused on development of price and its importance according to the perspective from whitch we look at it. In the second part the theoretical part, I explained the formulas, that where used in the second phase of this work. I compare here on the three stages of production price trend, whether there a constant seasonality is. Then I compare the volume of sales of beef for two different firms. There is foreign trade with beef in ČR. In the last part I compare income population, the consumption of beef and industrial producer prices in selected EU counties.
