Auffray, Maëlane ; TRPIŠOVSKÝ, Lukáš (advisor) ; TOMÁNEK, Karel František (referee)
This thesis goes back to the classical French theater text, the theater perceived as alternative in Europe, and my attempt to propose an alternative theater using a classic French text translated into Czech. He describes how all these terms echo in me. He returns to history and recalls that before being paper, the text was body, and that before the alternative there is convention (and tradition). Kosáková, Tereza ; JOBERTOVÁ, Daniela (advisor) ; KYSELOVÁ, Eva (referee)
Bachelor thesis called From Entertainment to Tragedy: Changes of Alfred de Musset’s dramatic proverb tracks Alfred de Musset’s creative line of dramatic proverbs. It incorporates his plays not only into an artistic movement and socio- political situation of the author's era, but also into a wider context of proverb's development since the salon improvisations in the seventeenth century. On the background of this tradition the author of this bachelor thesis closely analyzes Musset’s dramatic works and detaches the play No Trifling with Love which carries both characteristic features of the proverb genre and of romantic tendencies of that time. Combining the inductive method and her own interpretation, the author names the main themes and qualities of play and proves its scenic potential through domestic staging and translation interest. In conclusion she also points out further possibilities of dramatic proverb research which penetrate into other European cultures.

Javořík, Viktor ; TÖPFER, Tomáš (advisor) ; SCHEJBAL, Milan (referee)
The present thesis deals with the process of creating a comedy and drama character. The work is built upon comparing the similarities and differences of their creating. It is based on my previous acting experience and knowledge and skills acquired in the course of the training at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts, during the rehearsals or final exams at the Department of Dramatic Theatre, or performances at professional theatres. I believe that I am a comedy actor, therefore I chose a topic which may help me sort out the approach to acting in general, but also realize my own capabilities, skills, obstacles and limits which affect the comedy and drama character creating process. I supported the thesis with specialised literature with which I was acquainted during the studies at university.
