Contemporary trends in international container transport

The thesis focuses on the problems of the international container transport between Asia and Europe. The first chapter looks into the characteristic and legislation of the international container transport and different branches of transportation. The second chapter is devoted to contemporary economic situation on the European and Asian continent, to the most important maritime ports and international trade between these two continents. There ale also analysed the possibilities of the merchandise transport from Asia to Europe and the new trends in container transportation.

Thesis focuses on the analysis of international transportation between Europe and Asia. First part of the thesis is devoted to contemporary situation in international trade and transportation. In second part there is description and comparison of different branches of transportation, operated on the analyzed relation.
