The State of Flow in U19 Basketball Players
Neumann, Michael ; Jurková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Hrabík, Jan (referee)
Title: The State of Flow in U19 Basketball Players Objective: The primary aim of this bachelor's thesis is to determine the impact of the flow state on the sports performance of basketball players competing in the U19 league. It focuses on understanding how flow manifests in the context of young athletes and how it influences their performance on the court. Tasks: The main task include identifying the levels of flow state experience among basketball players and analyzing its impact on their performance. Emphasis is placed on understanding how flow manifests in basketball and the factors that contribute to its achievement. Methods: Data was collected using a questionnaire method, specifically the FSS-2 (Flow State Scale-2), which is designed specifically for measuring the experience of the flow state in athletes. Results: The data analysis revealed interesting patterns in the experience of flow among players and showed how various aspects of flow affect their sports performance. The results provide new insights into the psychological factors that play a role in the performance of young basketball players. Conclusion: The study contributes to a better understanding of the relationship between the psychological state of athletes and their performance, emphasizing the importance of mental preparation...

Analysis and design of business intelligence solution for a selected company
Gabauer, Jiří ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Hrnčíř, Lukáš (referee)
The bachelor thesis is focused on analysis and design of business intelligence solution for a selected company. In the first part, architecture of business intelligence solution and basic concepts, are introduced in a way they are understood by the contractor company Neit Consulting. In the next part consists of a analysis of current state of BI in the company and a suggestion of a goal state of the BI. Implementation of project requirements follows. This project is part of goal state of BI.
The concept of reporting in cost controlling
Vojtek, Michal ; Novotný, Ota (advisor) ; Ulrych, Jiří (referee)
This diploma thesis describes a proposal of a new conception of cost controlling reporting in Česká spořitelna for next period. This reporting concept consists of a description of the dimensional model (including a detailed description of dimensions and metrics reporting), the application architecture design and benefits of the new solution. The theoretic part focuses on specification of the basic reporting terms that are further developed in a practical part. Specifically, this section describes and categorizes reporting, including identification of the main groups of users (consumers) reports, identifies the main reporting components - requirements, tools and architecture. The practical part consists of three chapters supporting the achievement of the main targets. The first chapter defines the role of cost controlling, describes the current reporting conception through the model of application architecture. At the end, it summarizes the main limitations and shortcomings of the current reporting concept. The second chapter is fully devoted to the Erste reporting, and evaluates new demands and reporting requirements. The part of chapter is a catalogue of reports and reporting road map. It serves as a dashboard that can warn against potential operational risks. The last chapter meets the main goal and introduces a solution of reporting concept of cost controlling. The benefits of work can be especially found in practical application in Česká spořitelna. Currently, the first implementation phase of the Hyperion planning application has been realized. Moreover subject of my thesis can serve as a valuable source of information describing both current and final status of cost reporting.
Solution of dimensional model for enterprise IT management
Král, Filip ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Benáčanová, Helena (referee)
This thesis deals with a management of business informatics; specifically with creation of dimensional model for monitoring of chosen metrics defined in CobiT process model. For achievement of this goal it is utilized the nature of the solution of the MBI methodology. Main content of this thesis is divided into four main parts. Chapter Reference models of IT management provides introduction to a reference model issues, which is needed for understanding of the CobiT methodology. Chapter Framework of the Cobit5 introduces principles and manner; how CobiT methodology sees strategic enterprise goals and their cascade into concrete enablers. Chapter Reference model of the Cobit5 brings this methodology process model description; thus process structure and building blocks, from which every process is made. Chapter Analysis of processes and metrics contains the result of this thesis, a description of processes and metrics with linked dimensions.
Business Intelligence in Supply Chain Management
Lhotan, Petr ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Jirsák, Petr (referee)
The diploma thesis Business Intelligence in Supply Chain Management deals on the edge of IT and logistics with designing conceptual solution for BI in SCM. It covers specific needs of Supply-Chains, usage of BI in logistics, analyses the connection to the SCOR model developed by Supply-Chain Council, and designs & describes basic dimensions and relationships in the dimensional model. The primary goal is to create a general BI model solution that respects the specifics of various types of Supply-Chains in order to serve as a theoretical framework. The resulting model links to existing models designed for the Supply-Chain Management such as SCOR, Balanced Scorecard etc. To fulfil the primary goal first it is necessary to identify the specifics of various types of supply-chains, define BI use case and requirements in logistics; and by incorporating these parameters and SCOR model the BI model solution will emerge. The biggest contribution is the fulfilment of the primary goal - the creation of BI solution reference model for Supply-Chain with specific needs according to suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and retailers. With the help of this model it should be easier to coordinate, clarify goals, activities and relationships of methods used in the pre-analytical stage and implementation of the BI technologies in the Supply-Chains.
Standardization of data structures of a financial BI solution
Chaloupecký, Stanislav ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Zajíc, Ján (referee)
In this diploma thesis I concentrate on analysing the possibilities of standardization of financial Business Intelligence solution. The objective is firstly to assess whether it is useful to create a so-called standard model, i.e. a solution model, which could be used repeatedly in independent BI project implementations. The objective is to analyse whether there are similarities among the implemented BI projects in terms of content requirements (measures and dimensions), or what are the differences. The objective is then to design a standard solution model (design relational and dimensional model for data structures). Another objective is to create a functional prototype solution based on the designed model, i.e. to create the actual data structures and fill them with data. A part of this prototype solution should be a set of demonstrative reports. The objectives will be achieved first of all by analysing the theoretical foundations, which provides the literature, and by analysing available real project documentation. Considered BI projects have been implemented within several non-financial commercial institutions. That means that the outputs of this thesis are applicable primarily in non-financial enterprises environments. In the next step, the dimensional modelling techniques will be used to create the schema. Then, leveraging the knowledge of BI solution development techniques on Microsoft SQL Server platform, the prototype solution will be deployed. Reports will be developed using the Microsoft Excel client tool. The benefit of this thesis consists in the model added value, which can be used as the core of newly developed financial BI solutions. The implementation process should by this spare some time. Another benefit of the thesis is the possible use of the prototype solution as a tool for customized demonstration of the financial BI capabilities to potential customers.
