Fault relevance diagnostics of the PMSM under the inter-turn short circuit fault
Zezula, Lukáš ; Václavek, Pavel (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
Tato práce popisuje matematické modelování mezizávitových zkratů fázového vinutí synchronního motoru s permanentními magnety, diskretizaci odvozeného modelu a diagnostiku závažnosti zkratu založenou na referenčním modelu. Popis zkratovaného stroje je vytvořen v proměnných statoru s uvažováním sérioparalelního zapojení vinutí a následně transformován do referenčního rámce rotoru pomocí rozšířené Clarkové a Parkovy transformační matice.
Application for early detection of transmission parameters degradation of microwave units
Bubniak, Milan ; Benedikt, Jan (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
Radio equipment of microwave links operating in an outdoor environment under the influence of weather conditions is at risk of a link failure or device defect occurrence, as well as their indoor units. This bachelor thesis aims to present the creation of a~network monitoring application capable of timely detection of potential failures, based on analyzing trends in monitored device parameters. The theory section deals with basic characteristics of microwave links and the structure of Simple Network Management Protocol. The practical section describes an application design, including core architecture, as well as a graphical user interface. Several failure detection methods are designed and described. In the next section, practice monitoring results are presended. Furthermore, network traffic and data storage requirements are measured. The conclusion summarizes the results of the application development and outlines it's future with new possible features.
Monitoring and Diagnosis Algorithms for Synchronous Motor Drives
Otava, Lukáš ; Glasberger, Tomáš (referee) ; Lettl, Jiří (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
Permanent magnet synchronous machine drives are used more often. Although, synchronous machines drive also suffer from possible faults. This thesis is focused on the detection of the three-phase synchronous motor winding faults and the detection of the drive control loop sensors' faults. Firstly, a model of the faulty winding of the motor is presented. Effects of the inter-turn short fault were analyzed. The model was experimentally verified by fault emulation on the test bench with an industrial synchronous motor. Inter-turn short fault detection algorithms are summarized. Three existing conventional winding fault methods based on signal processing of the stator voltage and stator current residuals were verified. Three new winding fault detection methods were developed by the author. These methods use a modified motor model and the extended Kalman filter state estimator. Practical implementation of the algorithms on a microcontroller is described and experimental results show the performance of the presented algorithms in different scenarios on test bench measurements. Highly related motor control loop sensors fault detection algorithms are also described. These algorithms are complementary to winding fault algorithms. The decision mechanism integrates outputs of sensor and winding fault detection algorithms and provides an overall drive fault diagnosis concept.
Design of load mechanism for laboratory model of rail track
Čech, Vít ; Lošák, Petr (referee) ; Kšica, Filip (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the loading of the similarity model of the track and the subsequent implementation and verification of the functionality of the designed device. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part of the thesis, the theoretical knowledge related to the effects acting on the track and a research of available methods and equipment that allow the investigation of the individual effects in a controlled laboratory environment are presented. The second part then focuses on the design and construction of the loading mechanism. This had to be designed in accordance with all the loading requirements of the model. The last part covers the testing of the designed loading mechanism and the results are compared with those from a real railway line and also with those measured during the original loading of the model using pneumatic pistons.
