Kierkegaard's conception of existence

The topic of the bachelor thesis is "Kierkegaard's conception of existence". There are both the life of the Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard and his philosophy discussed. The issue of human existence is analysed with its main three stages which are focused on aesthetics, ethics and religion. These stages of existence are at first described and afterwards compared with each other. The aesthetic represents the first stage of life and the religious stage is considered to be the highest aim of existence. The thesis deals with despair and anxiety with respect to being of human existence. Kierkegaard's philosophy is necessary to understand as to indirect advice appealing to our own existence. Kierkegaard's philosophy of existence

This work takes as its central issue the existential movement as it appears in the philosophy of Soren Kierkegaard. There appears to be relatively little secondary literature on this topic, so it is a very fruitful area to explore. The texts explored include Kierkegaard's 'psychological' books, in particular Concept of Anxiety and Sickness unto Death. These provide our work with the crucial concepts of innocence, guilt, despair, anxiety, existence and spirit. From the more traditional philosophical works, Philosophical Fragments, Concluding Unscientific Postscript to Philosophical Fragments and Johannes Climacus have been utilised. These texts inform the work mostly on the meaning of movement, doubt, contradiction and absolute paradox. From the more lyrical works, this work is informed by Fear and Trembling and Repetition. Inquiry into these texts combined will provide a picture of existential movement as it is presented by Kierkegaard. This work attempts to capture the 'becoming subjective' which is so central to Kierkegaard's thought, through the reconstruction of the existential stages. It is also the purpose of this work (in the process) to treat areas of Kierkegaard's thought that are usually left untreated. The Problems of a guilt in a view of German and Czech Literature

In my Bachelor Thesis I am going to focus on the problems of a guilt in the early after-war German and Czech fiction. I am trying to look into burning out, which is featured in mentioned fiction. This Thesis is concerned on a question of a possible future hope and its forms too, which could a man hit by war find. I compare both points of view in selected short stories by Wolfgang Borchert Smutný studený svět and in a drama Venku přede dveřmi. I have mentioned Heinrich Bolls novel A anděl mlčel and so on in Hermann Hesses Stupně. I have chosen Holans Panychida, Bednářs Praha pod křídly války and Drdas Němá barikáda from Czech fiction. My knowledges into preface problem thema and theoretical part are from Otázka viny by Karl Jaspers, Hannah Arendts essay O násilí and Tzvetan Todorovs text V mezní situaci.
