Industrial log server with data visualization
Asszonyi, Jakub ; Holasová, Eva (referee) ; Kuchař, Karel (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the complex design, development and implementation of an industrial logging server with integrated data visualization. The aim of the thesis was to conduct a research of the current state of the art in the field of operational and industrial technologies. The thesis also deals with basic data processing and presentation, where an analytical search of open-source tools for creating REST APIs was performed. The work includes the implementation of an industrial network simulation using the industrial Modbus protocol. The industrial logging server was developed in the Docker virtualization environment and is structured into four basic parts: a REST API (FastAPI), a user interface (Next.JS), a database (InfluxDB) and a server agent providing communication between the industrial network and the server (Telegraf). Furthermore, the paper discusses the security of the industrial server both in terms of unauthorized access to the database and user interface, and in terms of access to the server from the industrial network. In the last part of the thesis, testing of the server efficiency and functionality of all implemented parts has been done.
Approximation of functions determining colony activity using neural networks
Nevláčil, Jakub ; Ligocki, Adam (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
Bees as a primary pollinator are an indispensable contribution to global agriculture and food production. However, their numbers have been constantly declining in recent times, primarily due to climate change, parasites or the effect of pesticide use. Understanding their behavior and reliably determine their activity and health could significantly prevent or slow down their decline. That is why this work deals with the development of a device for the acquisition of useful data from beehives, which could be used to determine the activity and health of the bees. Furthermore, this work deals with analysis of the accumulated data using machine learning methods with an emphasis on determining the activity and health of the bees.
Measuring and Data Logging of Air Parameters
Kaziměrčíková, Lada ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of the Bachelor thesis is to design a device for measuring humidity, temperature and CO2 concentration with implemented data logging. The Raspberry Pi computer was chosen as the control unit for the design of the device with three sensors, DHT11 for measuring temperature and humidity, NDIR MH-Z16 for measuring the CO2 concentration and NOVA PM SDS011 for detection PM10 and PM2,5 particles. The measured data from the sensors are stored in the MySQL database and are displayed on the web using PHP scripts and active Javascript elements. The Bachelor thesis also focuses on the analysis of air quality and the substances contained in the air with presented research for sensors used for measuring the concentration of these substances.
Data logger
Dráb, Dominik ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Ctibor, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design of universal data logging device. The work proposes the design of device architecture and describes individual systems and components, that are necessary for data logging. Logger is designed as a mobile device, with ARM microcontroller at its core. Thesis specifies requirements for device in terms of performance and versatility. The device uses modular construction, as it comprises multiple PCBs. The thesis describes their design and also design of the mechanical construction of data logger. Designed device has been realized and assembled. Software design for microcontroller is also part of the thesis. In the last part, measurements to determine achieved parameters of the device are conducted.
Design and implementation of UAV SW architecture
Kuchař, Vojtěch ; Mašek, Petr (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes design and implementation of SW architecture for autopilot of unmanned aircraft including flight data logging, integration of automatically generated code from Matlab Simulink and communication with ground station.
GPS position recording system
Kokeš, Ondřej ; Magát, Martin (referee) ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (advisor)
The system conducting an electronic record of drives employing GPS enables simply track the vehicle running and traffic. As vehicle is running, information is gathered and saved into the memory module, out of which the driver's report book is generated afterwards. The submitted work is involved in brief summary of possibilities that might be used during implementation of the project and furthermore during complete solution of such a system, hardware and software parts included.
Design of a current data logger for LPWA sensors
Mikulášek, Michal ; Možný, Radek (referee) ; Štůsek, Martin (advisor)
This Master thesis deals with the design and construction of a measuring device for measuring and the current consumption logging of sensors using LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) technology. The theoretical part of the thesis firstly summarizes selected LPWAN technologies. Selected technologies, namely: LoRaWAN, Sigfox and Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT), are described more in detail. Further, the current measurement techniques are briefly discussed. The main focus is given to the current shunt measuring methods. The second half of thesis describes procedures conducted during the design and construction of a measuring device. The current measuring is based on the current shunt circuit complemented by the voltage amplification circuit, whose output is subsquently converted into digital form using an AD converter. The thesis describes in great detail the procedures for selecting individual components and important processes used in design of printed circuit boards. An integral part of the measuring device implementation is the design and implementation of control software, which is described in detail and supplemented by workflow charts underlining the entire description. The implementation of the entire measuring device is completed by the design and implementation of the cover box using 3D printing technology. Finally, the specifications of designed device are briefly discussed based on the limits of the used components.
Transfer and utilization of process data (PLC) in production control system
Kupčík, Michal ; Michal, Novotný (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
This work explains to reader the difficulty of production scheduling and why is much advantageous using proper system for this work. Next he reads about complexity of production management and about necessity of linkage between all levels of company’s IT systems. We are going to use three different approaches for getting Siemens controller’s data out and for two of them we are going to describe general procedure, how we gets a data files, which are openable in classic table processor like MS Excel and which contain user’s choosen variables including their actual values. Finally reader will be familiarized with SimRead program, which serves for reading variable’s values in combination with Simatic standart communication blocks.
