Further Education of Pedagogical Staff as Latent Prevention of Burnout

The bachelor thesis elaborates the issue of further education of pedagogical staff as a preventive measure of burnout syndrome of teachers. The aim of the bachelor is to analyze the potential connection between further education of pedagogical staff and the prevention of burnout syndrome. Theoretical part is devoted to the connection of burnout syndrome with the teacher profession, according to modern a theory of psychohygiene and personal education. Firstly there is a description of the burnout syndrome - definition, course, and prevention which is especially important. Furthermore, there is the form of the further education of pedagogical staff. One of the most important part is devoted to legislation that applies to further education of pedagogical staff. In the final phase, there is a question of connecting these two topics. The aim of the quantitative empirical survey is to evaluate whether the further education of pedagogical staff functions as a prevention of burnout syndrome and if teachers are sufficiently informated about this fact. From the resulting data, we can confirm the fact that further education of pedagogical staff can function as a preventive measure against the burnout syndrome. However, awareness of this fact and the whole process of the burnout syndrome is very low. Key words...
