TECHNICAL ANALYSIS OF THE LIFE OF THE PIPE MATERIAL OF GREY CAST IRON

The dissertation describes the technical analysis of the pipe material of gray cast iron, which is developed on the basis of historical documents and standards. The technical analysis is a methodology for determining the technical state and theoretical residual life of the pipe section made of cast iron, which is processed into a software application Kozel 1.0. The proposed methodology operates on the basis of multi-criteria decision making. For input the data methodologies are designed to monitor the operators of water supply networks. The output of the methodology is to determine the category of the technical condition of the pipe section and time stamp, minimum and maximum residual lifetime analysis pipeline segment. Outputs of the methodology are compared with the outputs of medium-term plans of Ostrava and Brno.

The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Rating of Suppliers

The master's thesis deals with the evaluation of suppliers for the needs of the company MOTOSTYLE PLANET s.r.o using the knowledge of advanced decision-making methods. The fuzzy logic method used is solved using MS Excel and MATLAB. The model is built on the basis of criteria formed for the needs of the company and in the conclusion it pronounces a recommendation in the selection of the supplier.

The evaluation of investment activity in the municipality

This bachelor thesis deals with the investment activities in a municipality and mainly with its evaluation. There is the public administration in the Czech Republic described. It is accompanied with potential financial sources and the subsidy system of the Czech Republic and the European Union. The thesis briefly deals with the basic criteria for the evaluation of investment project. The second part of the thesis describes a specific municipality, analyses its current financial situation and its financial situation in the past three years. There is also a specific investment project described and its benefit assessed according to the time of payback.

The bachelor thesis deals with the method of evaluation and the methodology for selecting suppliers for a specific small company in the construction industry, which specializes in the realization of roads using the cold recycling method. The introductory part of the work describes the principles of supplier evaluation and the basic structure and functioning of customer-supplier relationships. Subsequently, data about suppliers for a specific company are analyzed and evaluated. A supplier evaluation methodology for a given company is proposed.

Title: Determination of criteria for the selection of football talents for the position of central midfielder in selected formations Objectives: The main aim of this work is to compile a list of the most important criteria, which will allow identifying football talents in the U15 category playing the position of central midfielder in selected game systems from the perspective of the representative agency. Methods: Qualitative and quantitative research methods were used to create a list of the most important criteria for selecting football talents. In the first phase of the research, semi-structured interviews were conducted with player agents and scouts, which brought a unique insight into the issue of identifying talents and their subsequent care. Based on previous research, a list of criteria observed in a central midfielder was compiled. It was consequently narrowed by scaling each criteria into the final form of the most important criteria for the identification of football talents in the U15 category playing as a central midfielder in selected formations. Increasing the productivity of the design process

This thesis focuses on the topic of increasing the productivity of the design process in a competitive environment. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part is devoted to the explanation of the methodological approach, which is called the Brno Design School, which is based on a systemic approach standing on three key pillars, which are defined in the theoretical conception. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the proposal of a new methodology in the design process, which is presented on a specific example of a CNC machine tool. In the methodology, technical and economic criteria are proposed by means of which the different design options are evaluated. The aim of the methodology is to bring simplicity to the design process, thereby achieving savings in time, financial resources, and competitive advantage.

Application of fuzzy logic as a support for decision-making in financial market

This thesis focuses on the application of fuzzy logic in supporting of decision-making in financial markets, especially in cryptocurrency investment. Firstly, the theory of fuzzy logic and its various applications are comprehensively discussed. Subsequently, cryptocurrencies and their investment criteria are analyzed. Based on this analysis, a fuzzy system is proposed as a decision-making tool for cryptocurrency investment. Specifically, the fuzzy system enables the evaluation of the risk and return of the investment in a particular cryptocurrency. The implementation of the proposed system, using MS Excel and MathWorks MATLAB, is also described. The experimental results show that the proposed fuzzy system is an effective decision-making tool for cryptocurrency investment.
