The influence of distance learning on the evaluation of pupils in 2nd primary school level

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of learners during distance education when schools in the Czech Republic were closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and pupils were educated from home. The goal of the thesis is to describe how distance learning influenced the evaluation of pupils by selected teachers at the second level of primary schools in Prague. The main focus is on finding out the form of pupils' evaluation during distance learning by individual teachers. Emphasis is also placed on mapping the changes in teachers' assessment of pupils during the period of ongoing distance learning and, finally, on finding out how teachers' experience of pupil assessment during distance learning has been reflected in their current evaluation. The research investigation uses semi-structured interviews with teachers, content analysis of methodological documents related to pupil assessment during distance learning and other materials obtained from the interviewed teachers.
