Production of cold
Soľár, Slavomír ; Šnajdárek, Ladislav (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on description of cool production and properties of two basic cooling units. There are also included calculations for comparing these two units in term of consumption and operating expenses. Part of labour is devoted to applications of units in Czech Republic and rest of World, where the system of district cooling is used. It is also important to acquaint with legislation and regulations, which are related with production of cool and manipulation with equipments and refrigerants.
Direct cooling systems in food processing plants
Kotásek, Petr ; Vlček, Petr (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with direct cooling systems in food processing plants. The work focuses on the description of the components of the refrigerant cycle, with emphasis on the choice of refrigerant. The result is a design of direct cooling system in the food factory in the variants with refrigerant R404A and R717. The work describes the advantages and disadvantages of various options. The work includes an experimental section which deals with the measure-ment and processing of the actual values of the refrigerant cycle and the comparison of two cold sources.
The used principles of industrial cooling
Machala, Jiří ; Sekanina, Bohumil (referee) ; Kavička, František (advisor)
This thesis summarizes the main cooling methods used in industrial cooling systems. It also discusses the fluids used in cooling, their influence on environment; ozone layer and climate change. The thesis closely describes the properties of ammonia and out of the many cooling methods on the market, it mostly concentrates on ammonia cooling systems. The thesis also discusses heat pumps, vortex tubes, and thermoelectric cooling.
