BROŽEK, Patrik
The aim of my thesis is to summarize the knowledge about the positive impact of strengthening and active lifestyle on health. This diploma thesis is also a literature search of basic concepts related to topics such as health, health, lifestyle, strengthening, the positive impact of physical activity on health and the poor impact of insufficient exercise on health. It is also possible in this work to observe knowledge from the field of strengthening, compensatory exercise, diseases of civilization, forms of relaxation or the basics of nutrition and drinking regime. In the practical part, a quantitative method of questionnaire survey was used. The questionnaire survey was distributed via the social network Facebook in order to find out the relationship of the addressed respondents to strengthening and active lifestyle. Part of the work was to determine the research assumptions, which were evaluated and then more specifically analyzed in the discussion. The results obtained from the questionnaire survey were processed and converted into a graphic form. At the same time, the established hypotheses were statistically processed and evaluated in the SPSS Statistics program. The diploma thesis focuses on the benefits of effective strengthening in the field of health and active lifestyle and its aim is to positively influence human consciousness in this area.
The influence of compensation exercises on muscle imbalances of amateur football players
STOKLASA, Lukáš
This bachelor thesis deals with problems of muscle imbalance in football players, who has been playing their sport at an amateur level. It deals with the use of compensatory exercises for influencing the muscle imbalance. The first aim of the work is to assess the influence of compensatory exercises on muscle imbalances in individual probands according to obtained data. The second aim is a comparison of compensatory exercises in different age groups. At first, there is a chapter in the theoretical part on football and the most common types of movements, which occur when playing. Chapters on muscle tissue and muscle imbalances follow. Furthermore, there are individual clinical syndromes, as per professor V. Janda, described. The conclusion of the theoretical part consists of different types of compensatory exercises. The practical part is processed in form of qualitative research. The research group consists of five football players of FK Olympie Týn and Vltavou. Two players come under the category of C-juniors, remaining three players play for the A-team. The work contains five case studies consisting of initial and final examination. Each examination consists of taking an anamnesis, standing examination, examination of shortened muscles complemented with trigonometrical examination and examination of movement stereotype. Based on the results from the case studies, an individual exercise unit was formed for each proband. I believe that this bachelor thesis can serve as a source of information for the students of physiotherapy and for non-professional public. It should than be used mainly for players and coaches of performance football.
Muscle imbalance and its compensation in sporting paraplegics
ŠVEJDOVÁ, Karolína
The bachelor thesis deals with compensation of muscle imbalance in paraplegic athletes. In its theoretical part I deal with the basic anatomy of the spine and spinal chord, types of spinal chord injuries and complications in patients struggling with the results of spinal chord injuries. Further, the chapters are devoted to the options of sport activities in paraplegic patients, the choice of a correct wheelchair, and to the explanation of types of muscle imbalance and their compensational exercises. The main objective of my bachelor thesis is to find out about muscle imbalance in 3 paraplegics doing sports, to examine and create an individual compensatory plan for individual athletes that contains exercising with a therapist, but also an autotherapeutic exercise. It is a qualitative research where a part of the research group consists of 3 probands that are active athletes in a wheelchair. Each case study consists of an initial examination followed by 8 therapy sessions focused on individual muscle imbalance in each athlete. A final examination serves as the result of the case study. Based on the practical part results a positive effect is visible, when, after finishing the individual compensatory plan, in 2 probands reached a significant improvement. The last proband could not participate in the research due to the COVID 19 situation. This thesis can be used as educational material for physiotherapists, expert public or even general public interested in this issue
Physiotherapy focused on the postural system and tissues of the lower extremities in child football players
MARŠÍK, Roman
The thesis concerns with the topic of the physiotherapy which is focused on a postural system and tissues of the lower limbs of children playing football, whereby I focus on the influence of the deep stabilization, and the body posture, especially on muscles of the lower limbs. I assume that the importance of the deep stabilization within training units of football players is often ignored, especially talking about children. The current trend puts emphasis primarily on the performance, and only then on the condition of the player themselves which may also affect the performance itself. Without preventive measures, such as various types of compensatory exercises, medical complications may occur in the form of injuries, and these may further limit the player. These exercises serve as an injury prevention or as the compensation of unilateral load which may occur. The theoretical part of the thesis was focused on the postural system in connection with postural functions and the deep core stabilizing system and its connection with the position of various segments. Furthermore, it was focused on biomechanical features, especially muscle and connective tissues which are of high importance by football players, moreover, these are often injury-prone. This section is followed by the list of injuries which occur most. Also, the elements of preventive measures are described here, such as compensatory exercises or the use of compensatory utilities, and the last section of the theoretical part features the methodology of training children in terms of physiotherapy. In the practical part I dealt with the examination of four probands - children aged 11-12. In the examination I concerned with the body posture, the shortening of muscles fibres, postural functions and the postural stability which was detected by posturography.
Possibilities of compensatory exercises for young figure skaters
HUMLEROVÁ, Veronika
The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of posture of young figure skaters and compensatory exercise, which serves to prevent or remedy early functional movement disorders. The first aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and create a program of compensatory exercise for young figure skaters according to the assessment of the musculoskeletal load. The second aim is to evaluate its effectiveness in a selected group of figure skaters and the final goal is to create an educational booklet for autotherapy. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains information on the fundamentals and rules of compensation exercises. The thesis also outlines general information and history of figure skating, the most common muscle imbalance and the most common functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system in figure skating. The practical part includes the methodology, which was elaborated in the form of qualitative research and four girls from the synchronized skating section in Jihlava are part of the research. The research includes the anamnesis that was taken in the form of a semi-structured interview and a kinesiological examination. Subsequently, from this information were created casuistries and according to their assessment, I suggested and created an exercise unit of compensatory exercises. After a few weeks in the range of 2-3 months, I evaluated the effectiveness of this exercise. This thesis can be used as a source of information on the most common functional problems that young figure skaters often encounter. It can also be used as educational material for physiotherapists, coaches or figure skaters themselves.
Disorders of the musculoskeletal system and muscular dysbalance in volleybal female players in different age categories
CANDROVÁ, Pavla
The bachelor thesis is focused on disorders of the musculoskeletal sytem and muscular dysbalance in volleyball female players. The topic of the work is very current. It deals with the influence of volleyball on the musculoskeletal system, what types of injuries are most often at volleyball players. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the injuries, acute and chronic, which occur injuries are typical for volleyball. Also the muscular dysbalances in volleyball are described, which volleyball as a one-sided sport causes and I described the basic characteristics of compensatory exercise. The aim of the work is to find out and describe what musclar dysbalances and functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system occur at volleyball players and in which age these dysbalances begin to manifest most. Another goal of the practical part was to originate a set of compensatory exercises based on the research results. A quantitative type of research is used to carry out the research part of the bachelor thesis. An information was obtained from each player, kinesiological analysis and examination of shortened and weakened muscles was performed. The research group consists of 48 girls playing for the volleyball club SK Hlincovka. According to age, players are divided into six age categories (preparation, younger pupils, older pupils, cadets, juniors and women). The results are processed into tables and according to them a compensatory exercise is designed. Through research, it was found out what musclar dysbalances and musculoskeletal disorders affect volleyball players, in which age the greatest progression of muscle imbalance occurs. The work can be used by physiotherapists and especially volleyball coaches as an aid to the correct not only stretching of players. The results show that volleyball has a negative effect on the upright posture of players. Weakening and shortening of certain muscles or muscle groups results in the creation of muscle imbalances. The players suffer from chronic pain, especially of the cervical and lumbar spine. The greatest progression of muscle imbalances was at the turn of the age category of older pupils and cadets. I attribute this increase in musclar dysbalance to the acceleration of body growth during puberty. According to the results of the examination, I suggested a compensatory exercise that should help the players with their problems.
Design and verification of an exercise program for swimmers according to the method of Spiral Stabilization of the Spine
LANDAUEROVÁ, Martina
The graduation thesis deals with the design and verification of an exercise program to improve the posture of competitive swimmers in the category of younger adolescents. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the anatomical overview of the skeletal and muscular system, it also deals with the effects of competitive swimming on the musculoskeletal system, the characteristics of compensatory exercises and Spiral stabilization of the spine. Content analysis, synthesis, and standardized test for posture according to Jaroš and Lomíček were used in this graduation thesis. The group of test subjects consisted of 2 boys and 4 younger girls from the Příbram Swimming Club. Based on the results of the initial testing, an exercise program was designed according to the Spiral Stabilization of the Spine method. Subsequently, the 10 minute exercise was applied 6 times per week for 3 months. Afterwards, output testing which was identical to the input testing was performed and changes were compared. Posture was improved in all swimmers examined. The verification of the exercise program can be considered successful. This thesis can serve as a base for swimming coaches in determining compensatory exercises.
