Produkce jatečných zvířat v systému chovu skotu bez tržní produkce mléka
Zikan, Věra
This bachelors thesis is focused on slaghter beef Production within the system of cattle farming without market Production of milk. The work describes the essential characteristics of the rearing of suckler cows, the breeding methods, characteristics of the beef-cattle and their division. Goal of this procet work is to describe litetary overview about this farming system, which includes technology, equipment and organization of cattle farming CFWMMP. The work also deals with the control of performance. Thesis concerned on the importance of carcass classification system JUT and SEUROP. At the conclusion of the bachelors thesis I sketch topic of master's project – evaluation meat performance of specific breeds in selected farms with extensive fattening. After that I would like evaluate problematics and quality about pasture, then I would describe the nutritional properties of meat with quality deviations of meat.
Vliv plemenné příslušnosti a technologie chovu na růstovou schopnost jatečného skotu
Berková, Veronika
My Bachelor s thesis deals with the impact of breed and breeding technology on growth of the cattle for slaughter. It aims at defining every cattle breed that has been frequently used for slaughter in the Czech Republic. It also aims at describing the most common technologies of animal housing in the period of animal fattening. It points out that the essential principles and rules must be applied and followed so that the healthy offspring might be reared. At the same time, this Bachelor s thesis shows various methods of animal rearing, dairy cattle and meat cattle breeding too. In the initial part of the Bachelor s thesis, there are statistical data on the cattle livestock, amounts of slaughtered animals and data concerning the beef meat production. A year-on-year comparison of data has been made, and these data have been compared internationally as well. There is a chapter that deals with the nutrition and diet of the cattle for slaughter and veals in the Bachelor s thesis. Nutrition, diet and growth of the cattle for slaughter are closely related. In the final part of the Bachelor s thesis, an experiment is outlined. It is to be carried out for the purpose of the Master thesis later. It is to evaluate the growth of animals bred with various breeding technologies (animals will be weighed and the growth of animals will be measured).
Development of British beef breeds of cattle
Khajlová, Anna ; Stádník, Luděk (advisor) ; Ducháček, Jaromír (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on suckler cows breeding. Literary review and further details are focused on the development and application of four selected beef breeds of British origin in terms of cattle breeding in the Czech Republic. In the introduction I would like to describe mainly the origin and domestication of cattle. Much of the work is also devoted to meat production, its control and eventually classification and monetising the final product according to a single system SEUROP applicable in countries European Union. In this chapter were simultaneously described factors of the most important facts affecting meat performance that affects the overall results of the breed, including its profitability. The second half of the thesis summarizes the basics of cattle breeding, organization during the calendar year and grazing. There is an idea of reproduction, calving and basic measures during rearing and weaning calves. In other chapters, are explained the circumstances of the development of animal husbandry and the current status of beef breeds in the country. Also described are two basic systems of breeding beef cattle, it is a system of intensive fattening and breeding no milked cattle under extensive conditions, which are characterized in detail in a separate chapter. In the last chapters are presented in detail four selected meat breeds originating from the British Isles, which are in our conditions most frequently raised and used for extensive breeding system no milked cattle. There is also magnified view of history. It contains breeding these selected breeds, including the identification numbers of the development from the beginning to the present. Besides to the detailed characteristics of these selected meat breeds and their descriptions are shown and summarized like the results of performance within the CHECKS performance of beef cattle. For each breed they are processed mainly results concerning the weight of calves in individual sections and their rearing till 365 days of age, in addition, depending on gender. At the end, there are mentioned criteria of selection program, breeding goals and standard of these four selected meat breeds of British origin.
Factors affecting productivity indicators of beef cattle
KRÁLOVÁ, Alena
The aim of breeding suckler cows is same as the aim of any other activity- achieving the best results. Aspects like the quality of food, the corresponding energy value and correct feeding in terms of health and production, play an important part in nutrition. The concentration of energy of feed, within the group observed, for suckler had value of 5.4 MJ NEV. Preserved feed without undesirable content of butyric acid was graded as very good accordingly to the class of quality. The biggest cost item is the cost of feed. In a particular company, the price of feed for a cow with a bred calf represents 42% of total costs. The revenues from breeding of cattle are based on incomes from calves sales or fattening of them and their subsequent sale. An important part of an economic efficiency is a good fertility of cows. In a particular farm, the fertility for 2013 was 89% and 90% for 2014.
The factors affecting the production and economic results of beef cattle
KRÁLOVÁ, Alena
The highest costs for breeding cows for non-milk production are the feed costs that represent 39% of total cots. The second costs are the labour costs. Incomes from sold slaughter- and fattening-calves are the second highest incomes. These incomes do not cover total costs of the breeding so this business would not be feasible without state grants (the highest incomes). The economic system is affected mainly by fertility of the herd. A good fertility is considered as breeding 90 (or more) calves regarding to 100 cows. In case of calf death or cow without calf are the breeding cost practically not affected but the expected incomes are not realized.
Cattle Breeding under Eco-agricultural Conditions
BÁRTOVÁ, Eva
The diploma thesis is divided into three parts: cattle herd management, ethology and economic evaluation. The observation was carried out on the farm which is situated in the mountain region of Šumava mountain with decreasing agricultural production. The main production is cattle breeding without market milk production. These meat breeds (Hereford, Aberdeen angus, Charolais) are bred there.
Evaluation of the bred of cows in the system without market milk production at ecological and conventional farm
ROUŠALOVÁ, Miroslava
The aim of work was comparing breeding of suckler cows in agriculture companies with different methods of farming. Both farms are in the same climate conditions in submontaine region in Blanský Les. I included a herd of cows {--} bred Aberdeen Argus from the conventionally company and crossbreeds (the higher blood percentage of race Aberdeen Argus) are at the ecological farm. In both farms was checked same indices (reproduction inbreed, health problems cows and calves, management herd, sustenance, grazing system and economy of breed). Data was assessed behind period two years 2005 and 2006.
