Feist, P. Sustainability of small and medium food retail formats on the Czech market. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2020. The diploma thesis deals with the sustainability of small and medium food formats on the Czech market. The main goal of the thesis is to propose measures to increase the sustainability of small and medium-sized retail companies operating in the Czech market. The thesis examines the retail food market, monitors customer preferences and identifies main factors affecting customers in the retail food market. In this theses is used the technique of marketing research, namely a questionnaire survey. The outcome of the thesis is the determination of the main factors that influence the behavior of customers in the retail food market and proposals for recommendations for traditional Czech traders.

Matějková, V. The impact of advertising on a customer in the context of a marketing of the company Moje Kávová Hvězda. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel university in Brno, 2017. The goal of the thesis is to identify a target group of customers of the cafe Moje Kávová Hvězda in Brno and find out how its customers perceive company's image, advertisement and what are their needs. There are measures suggested on the basis of the results of the research which could contribute to improve company's marketing in various fields of marketing mix. The study is divided into two parts. The first part concerns general marketing terms and concepts, advertisement and consumer's behaviour. The second part focuses on verifying validity of specified hypotheses by a survey and suggests marketing recommendations and improvements on the basis of these results.
The analysis of shopping facilities and consumer behaviour in the city of Košice

Bachelor thesis describes the shopping facilities of Košice and consumer behaviour of local residents. It focuses on retailing, the area of foodstuffs. The first chapter briefly describes the history and current geographic and demographic state of Košice and recounts in detail the retail facilities of the city. The second chapter describes current trends in customer behaviour throughout Slovakia. The third chapter analyzes and evaluates the results of the questionnaire focused on the consumer behaviour of customers in Košice. In the final part, the nationwide consumer trends are compared to the trends in Košice and a typical customer of Košice is specified.

The bachelor thesis analyses buying terms and consumer behaviour in the town of Klasterec nad Ohri. The thesis focuses on the range of foodstuffs. The first chapter briefly characterizes the town of Klasterec and its surroundings. The next chapter deals with the retail network of the town and describes the particular types of retail units of a larger size. In the third chapter the current shopping trends of the consumer behaviour in the Czech Republic are outlined. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the results of the questionnaire which are compared with the nationwide trends.
Analysis of Retail Network and Shopping Behaviour in the city of Melnik

The thesis deals with the analysis of shopping behaviour of customers of the Potraviny Dvorak store in the city of Melnik. It is surveyed the structure of customers, circumstances or periodicity of their purchase. Based on criticism of customers against this store there is formulated some recomendation. The first chapter introduces current trends in shopping behaviour in the Czech Republic and touches the topic of price sensitivity. The second chapter surveys retail network in Melnik with an emphasis on the surveyed Potraviny Dvorak store. Third chapter focuses on the analysis of customers of the surveyed store.
