Brousilová, Klára ; Boukalová, Hedvika (advisor) ; Kostelníková, Zuzana (referee)
Presented bachelor thesis is mine attempt at highlighting particularities interrogator is confronted with when a role of witness is fulfilled by child up to 15 years of age. In the first chapter I briefly defined term child and interrogation for the purpose of this thesis. Then I specifically focus on core subjects. Preparation for interrogation is understood as arranging appropriate environment for conducting interrogation, setting pleasant atmosphere and proper explanation of legal system and laws. Second chapter is dedicated to communication skills of child witness; particular subsections describe for example conversation rules or child motivations behind lying. In the most extensive chapter regarding suggestibility reader is introduced to well-known suggestive techniques through their definitions, examples and notifications about their harmful effects. The empirical part serves as follow-up to my last theoretical chapter and proposes qualitative research that would examine whether interrogations of child witnesses in Czech Republic exploit suggestive techniques.
