Role Health Social Work in the Context of Long Term Care

Long-term care is currently a topical issue, not only in the context of an ageing population and care for people with disabilities, but also in the context of informal care. Formal long-term care includes health and social services, as well as community services and institutional care, including treatments used to stop or reverse the progression of illness or disability. Informal long-term care is provided by family members, friends or neighbours. A health social worker is an integral part of a multidisciplinary team in the context of long-term care provision.
Psychohygiene as an essential part of burnout syndrome prevention

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of psychohygiene as a essential part of the prevention of burnout syndrome. The topic of the burnout syndrome, and especially its prevention and elimination, has been often discussed by experts in recent years and is very topical in today's hectic times full of stress factors. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the key concepts of the bachelor's thesis, which are stress, burnout syndrome and psychohygiene. Furthermore, the individual methods of psychohygiene are described, and their summary into a single unit. In the practical part, in the form of a questionnaire survey, the population's awareness of the burnout syndrome and psychohygiene is ascertained, and above all, what methods of psychohygiene people know and use. This is also the aim of the work - to clarify and summarize possible methods of psychohygiene and to find out about the population's awareness of psychohygiene and its methods. The bachelor thesis thus provides the reader with information about the problem of burnout syndrome and provides possible ways to tackle or prevent it. The thesis can also be used as inspiration for people who are looking for a suitable method of psychohygiene and do not know where or how to start.
The demand for social work from the point of view of a social worker in the children's center of the South Bohemian Region

In the introduction of the diploma thesis there is discussed the question which every social worker knows: Could I have done something different? This is the question which is asked by almost everyone, especially a social worker. Further there is a brief outline of topics which are delineated in the diploma thesis. First chapter describes the institution Children´s Center JK Strakonice. Father there is a list of necessary knowledge which a social work should have for his or her occupation. Also the liabilities of the social worker to the clients are not left out. In this part there can be found also work with specific types of clients. For better understanding of the demands of social work in Children ´s Center JK Strakonice the thesis contains selected life stories of the women clients. These life stories should help to the reader to see the problems from different point of view and help to understand how much is important so that the clients decides himself or herself to solve his or her problems. In the second chapter there are described psychological and ethical dimensions of the profession, burnt out syndrome which is threat for everyone of us, especially for a social worker. In this chapter there are depicted causes of formation and manifestations of burnt out syndrome. The third chapter is also connected with the burnt out syndrome. The focus in this chapter is on prevention and protection. The attention is also paid to the personality of a social worker, his or her abilities to perceive the problem, but also experiences in moral decision-making and hierarchical position of values. The compliance of the principles of psycho hygiene and presence of supervision plays a very significant role. In the conclusion of the diploma thesis there is the summary of performance of a social worker in Children´s Center JK Strakonice. Every social worker should realise his or her responsibility not only to his or her clients, employer and colleagues but especially to himself or herself and his or her conscience. The interdependence of profession and conscience merges with the diploma thesis.

The Diploma thesis a case study monitors the process of implementing supervision in a specific medical institution that cares for vulnerable children up to three years of age. The aim of the change is to create a space for self-reflection for the employees of the organization, to support the learning process and the change. In the context of the transformation of foster care, the aim of this thesis is to support resilience when coping with change and to facilitate an open dialogue between the management and employees. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the definition and explanation of the related terms. I present the ethical aspects of the case study and the methodology in the empirical part of the thesis. It is followed by data analysis, a description of the change process, an assessment of the organization's input status prior to the implementation of the change, and an evaluation of the organization's statut nine months after the change was introduced.

This bachelor work examines stress factors and effects of stress on work performance of employees in a chosen company. The specific company sells products through phone calls. First was the need to explore the literary basis for the themes that dealt with stress, stressors, stress management at work etc. This information formed the basis for the creation of a questionnaire that was available to employees in a small company with 30 employees. This questionnaire was filled out by 20 respondents and the results were used to precisely analyze the situation that was required to propose solutions for executives. The solutions are in the end of this work.
Burn out syndrome by teachers at secondary school

This work is engaged in signs of burnout synrome by teachers at secondary school in the region of South Bohemia. 48 schools were asked to cooperate on this reaserch. For this research was used standardized questionnaire Maslach Burnout Inventory. In this research took part in 111 respondents.
Personality of teachers in kindergarten

The object of this dissertation is to research the desired and prevailing personality traits of teachers in preschool institutions, and to explore their role, function and impact on society. In the first section of the work the main terms in regards to human personality and its structure are explained and the factors affecting the development of one?s personality are discussed. Furthermore the desired set of skills needed for this type of work are explained together with the different roles that a teacher in a preschool institution undertakes. In the research section of the work teachers in preschool institutions were asked to evaluate themselves in terms of their skills and the role they play. Practical examples of how they overcome job specific difficulties and challenges are given. Finally the issues of mental wellbeing and burn out syndrome are examined.
What does make teachers stressed?

The thesis deals with the issue of stress in teachers. The concepts of teacher, stressor, stress and burn out syndrome are explained, as well as the connection between them. The theoretical part is focused on the stress prevention and the defense against stress. The aim of the practical part is to detect the main stressors in teachers, as well as the frequency and the intensity of their stress and negative emotions experience with regard to their professional age, sex and specialization. Further, teachers' knowledge about stress and their effort to prevent themselves from experiencing it are investigated.
Heftiness of work nurses for patient with Alzheimer's disease

This diploma work focuses on demanding and important task of nurses care of patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The problems of Alzheimer's disease represent socially serious and very important subject at present due to the fact that our generation is growing old, which will obviously result in increasing frequency of Alzheimer?s disease occurrence. This diploma work is divided in two parts: theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part there are causes, signs and symptoms, diagnosis and therapy of Alzheimer?s disease. Furthermore there is a conceptual framework of nursing care applied to the patients suffering from Alzheimer?s disease according to nursing model by Virginia Henderson. In addition to it burn out syndrome is mentioned here because due to the syndrome the nursing personnel is exposed to extreme psychic and physical load. The Alzheimer Programme Plan in the Czech Republic is presented in order to get better idea about activities in our country. In the practical part of this diploma work we laid down the following three objectives. The first objective was to ascertain exacting character of nursing work of the nurses taking care of the patients suffering from Alzheimer?s disease. The second objective was to ascertain what is considered by nurses to be the most problematic area within the range of nursing care of the aforementioned patients suffering from Alzheimer?s disease and the third objective of our research was to ascertain the contribution of specialised Alzheimer centres. The above-specified objectives have been fulfilled. In addition to it another research questions have been defined as follows: what is the level of exacting character of nursing work of the nurses taking care of the patients suffering from Alzheimer?s disease, what do the nurses see as the most problematic area within the range of nursing care of the aforementioned patients suffering from Alzheimer?s disease within the range of nursing care, what is the contribution of specialised Alzheimer centres and what nursing care should be provided in the specialised Alzheimer centres. The research questions have been answered. For the purpose of the development of this diploma work a qualitative examination has been used. Data acquisition and collection have been performed by applying the method of non-standard structured interview. The research work took place in Psychiatric Ward of the Hospital of České Budějovice a.s. (Joint stock company), in Alzheimer Centre named Loucký Mlýn near the town of Vodňany and in Alzheimer Centre in the town of Písek, and in Home of Old People in the village of Dobrá Voda. The answers of the interviewed nurses have been worked out in the form of sixteen case reports and subsequently category matrices (tables) containing the most important data were created from the aforementioned reports. The examination took place in the time period from March 2011 to June 2011. The results of our work could serve as a feedback for hospitals and sanatoria first of all for those where the examinations took place. Furthermore the results may be used for keeping public informed about the possibilities of helping patients suffering from Alzheimer?s disease e.g. in the form of information booklet.
