This bachelor thesis is focused on options of treatment of waste from biogas plants. The first part of this thesis describes biogas plants and its working. The main target of the thesis deals with waste from biogas plants – its creation, properties, composition and application. The thesis also includes an overview of legislative and environmental restrictions applying to the treatment of waste from biogas plants. Possibilities of utilization of nitrogen compounds from liquid suspensions generated in waste management

This thesis deals with the removal of ammoniacal nitrogen from biogas plant waste to produce a new usable product. In the theoretical part of the thesis, attention is paid to waste management from the perspective of biogas plants, the problem of nitrogen, and its removal. The thesis contains, among other things, theoretical calculations that include distribution and precipitation curves. The practical part deals with the correctness of these curves, as well as the precipitation of ammonium ions to form ammonium magnesium phosphate and stripping. The practical part includes quantitative and qualitative analyses of the individual components involved in precipitation. Nitrogen removal was performed on the model and real samples.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the use of alternative sources in a selected region. More specifically, it deals with biogas plants in a selected region. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part contains general information, such as types of biogas plants, their general usage, their strategies, from which they draw material for energy production and where they invest this energy. The practical part consists of an analysis of the activities of biogas plants in the selected region. This analysis works with specific data on activities, strategies of specific biogas plants, their drawing subsidies or their plans for the future. The analysis includes interviews with representatives of selected biogas plants, from which the results of the survey outcome.

Vývoj, optimalizace a validace analytické metody na stanovení těkavých mastných kyselin ve vodných vzorcích metodou GC/MS

This thesis is focused on the development of an analytical method for the determination of volatile fatty acids in aqueous samples using GC-MS/MS. The theoretical section provides general information on a selected group of acids, their significance in the biogas plants, the means of their derivatization and the analytical techniques used. The practical part mainly deals with optimizition of various parameters in the derivatization reaction to achieve optimal conditions. Finally, the analytical method was successfully validated and applied to the analysis of a real sample.
