The Political and Economic Relations of Spain and Morocco: Interdependence or a Security Question?

Diploma thesis "The Political and Economic Relations of Spain and Morocco: interdependence or a security question? " deals with the political and economical relations of Spain and Morocco from the end of the 1950's to the present. The relationship between these two countries is based not only on mutual cooperation and support but also on mutual rivalry. The most sensitive area almost throughout the analyzed period is the fishing policy, and the territorial dispute over Western Sahara, Ceuta and Melilla, Sidi Ifni (Leila) and the island Isla de Perejil (arabic Leila). The main hypothesis of the thesis is that the relationship of Spain and Morocco corresponds to the neo-liberal theory and therefore a priority in their mutual relations is the economic objectives and to ensure the prosperity. The relation of these two countries doesn't correspond to the neo-realistic theory and the security objectives don't have high priority. We verified this hypothesis by using the Congruance Method, the comparative method of the study period and by the dependent and independent variables. Cross-boarder Cooperation of Towns in Czech-Bavarian Border Area and its Importance for Tourism Development

The aim of this thesis is to identify the bilateral cooperation of Czech and Bavarian cities in selected areas, structures and areas of cooperation and to evaluate its contribution to the development of tourism. It also inculude the suggestion for the collective tourism development in selected partner cities on the aspect of cross-border cooperation.
Transformation of the system of the Czech foreign development cooperation

Czech foreign development cooperation represents important part of the Czech foreign policy. It also demonstrates adoption of its own part of responsibility for resolution of current global problems. Together with becoming part of organisations such as European Union or Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development importance of Czech foreign development cooperation is growing. Next to the main goal which is reduction of poverty in third-world countries, development cooperation has also another goals: it is also contributing to construction of good relations with developing countries and it helps ensure economic, security and environmental interests of the Czech republic. Current system of the Czech foreign development cooperation has grown up from the foundations, which have been lawn before 1989. From that time Czech Republic has made a great effort to improve its system of development cooperation and become an effective and responsible donor. European neighbourhood policy: the economic dimension of the Eastern partnership

The purpose of this paper is to prove the progress of the Eastern Partnership despite the unsettled economic and political situation in most of participating countries by means of a closer look at the bilateral and multilateral economic cooperation between EU and the partners and by emphasizing the main guidelines and potential of the implemented projects in the sphere of economic integration and convergence with EU policies. The first chapter introduces the Eastern initiative by explaining its premises, thematic platforms and the main purposes of the bilateral and multilateral track. It also introduces the profile of the partner states, depicting therefore the international context of the Partnership. The second chapter offers a detailed look at the fundamental level of the Eastern Partnership. It embodies two sub-chapters corresponding with the bilateral and multilateral track. The third chapter represents a general view of the project implementation in connection with existing challenges and offers a set of recommendations which would increase the EaP's performance.

Práce také sleduje možnosti a příležitosti rozvoje a prohloubení vzájemné spolupráce a obchodní výměny.

Dále se práce zabývá vlivem Dohody o volném obchodě (NAFTA) na vývoj vzájemných vztahů, migrací a možnými východisky řešení vzájemných vztahů.
