Self-health and safety protection in the case of a mass incidence of health damage

The topic of my thesis is Self-health and safety protection in the case of a mass incidence of health damage. The objective of my work was to briefly outline emergency events to which a mass incidence of health damage is considered to belong. Basic activities of medical rescue workers at the scene of such an accident are described to show the potential risks posed on rescue workers in this situation. The thesis also includes an overview of commonly used protective equipment and basic safety instructions. The goal of this study was to determine the level of abidance by principles of safety and health protection in the case of a mass incidence of health damage. Another objective was to review the awareness of risks the rescue worker profession involves in the case of a mass incidence of health damage and to compare the abidance by principles of safety and health protection between medical rescue workers and general nurses in anesthetic-resuscitation department. On the basis of these objectives hypotheses were stated. The quantitative data collection method was used to meet the purpose. The research was conducted through the questionnaire technique in the České Budějovice region. The obtained data were turned into graphs. The values were subsequently converted into percentages and placed below the charts as commentaries. In general, it is possible to say that medical rescue workers as well as general nurses abide by principles of safety measures and know the possibilities of self-protection. However, the research has shown that age has no significant effect on safety measures compliance and education does not significantly effects safety measures compliance. The obtained data show that the safety and health measures are complied with more by medical rescue workers than general nurses in Anesthesiology-resuscitation department, although there are only small percentage differences.

Analysis of safety at work and accident rate at work in manipulation with agricultural products

My diploma work deals with issues of safety at work and accident rate at work in the field of the manipulation with agricultural products. A work accident is usually caused by a number of interrelated factors. Thus, the sources and causes of work accidents affect their frequency. Undoubtedly, the most essential element in health protection and work safety not only in our country, but in the whole of the European Union (EU), is prevention. The obligation of risk assessment seems to be one of the basic principles of the preventive approach to the maintenance of health protection and work safety standards implemented in EU countries. The objective of this paper is to carry out an analysis of factors which play a role in the occurrence of work accidents and, as a result of these analyses, to establish general rules and recommendations for the elimination of the occurrence of such accidents and to design recommendations aimed at practical application.

Data Security Audit

Cílem práce je zpracovat vybrané okruhy související s ochranou a zabezpečením datové základny podniku a navrhnout metodiku pro provádění auditu systému bezpečnosti datové základny. Práce ozřejmuje význam a přínosy aktivní ochrany datové základny podniku, charakterizuje proces provádění analýzy rizik, diskutuje problematiku zálohování, archivace a obnovy datové základny a specifikuje nástroje a systémy eliminace ztrát, poškození a zneužití informací. V poslední kapitole je navrhnuta metodika zpracování auditu ochrany a zabezpečení datové základny a stručně popsána její aplikace v praxi.

Analysis of the system HSMS in the Company MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská, a. s. according to the requierements OHSAS 18001

Diplomová práce je zpracována ve společnosti MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská, a. s., je členěna na část teoretickou s vysvětlením základních pojmů BOZP, přístupů managementu BOZP, uvedené legislativy BOZP a zaměření na princip prevence. Praktická část hodnotí systém BOZP ve společnosti, obsahuje zhodnocení současného stavu BOZP ve společnosti podle požadavků normativního doporučení OHSAS 18001. Diplomová práce obsahuje vyhodnocení a doporučení pro úspěšnou certifikaci systému BOZP, kterou se organizace chystá provést koncem roku 2008.

OHS Management - Elaboration of register of legal reguirements in selected organisation

Tato práce se zabývá tvorbou návrhu registru legislativy pro oblast BOZP ve vybrané organizaci. V úvodní části práce jsou popsány systémové přístupy k managementu BOZP, orgány státního odborného dozoru pro oblast BOZP a vybraná legislativa z oblasti BOZP. Cílem praktické části bylo jednak vytvořit návrh registru legislativy v konkrétní organizaci a jednak zjistit, jakým způsobem jsou v této organizaci plněny požadavky na BOZP vyplývající ze Zákoníku práce. Výsledkem je tabulkovou formou zpracovaný návrh registru legislativy uvedený v závěru práce.

Problematika bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při práci

Cílem diplomové práce je poukázat na problematiku související s dodržováním bezpečnostních předpisů, se kterou se firmy často potýkají. Rizika poškození života a zdraví lze snižovat jednak zavedením účinného systému řízení BOZP, ale i důsledným vyhledáváním a rozebíráním příčin a následků vzniku pracovních úrazů a nemocí z povolání. V práci je poukázáno na činnost Inspektorátu práce a práci jeho inspektorů, dále shrnutí platné legislativní úpravy BOZP, způsob zavedení BOZP u nově vznikajících organizací a analýza stavu včetně návrhu na odstranění nedostatků u 3 malých organizací rozdílného zaměření.
