Influence of breathe to baroreceptor reflex
Humpolík, Tomáš ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with the influence of breathe to baroreceptor reflex. The first chapter is focused on measuring of blood pressure, in reference to later used method. In the second part is detailed analysis and explanation of term baroreflex, relationship between frequency spectra of systolic blood pressure, heart rate and breathing, mechanisms of regulation of blood pressure and heart rate variability. Third chapter deals with possible ways, how to analyze data, which are needed for estimation of baroreflex sensitivity, analyze of heart rate variability and estimation of power spectral density. Next parts of this thesis is paid attention to technical equipment and methods of acqusition of data, using this equipmnent. Part of this work is also software application, which makes possible from the recorded data estimate baroreflex sensitivity.
Load influence on baroreflex sensitivity
Szöllösi, Tomáš ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The topic of my Bachelor thesis is focused on through acquaintance problems of load influence on baroreflex sensitivity, to creat measuring protocol and implementation of this measurement. In this project, I examined how baroreceptors and then baroreflex work. I also note with physiology of blood circulation, and I examined the different types of measurement baroreceptor sensitivity. I did the measurement by measuring protocol. I evaluated the results using spectral methods and processed in Matlab. Finally, I have different results statistically evaluated using T-test.
Methods for the evaluation of heart rate and arterial blood pressure variability
Sedláčková, Gabriela ; Halámek, Josef (referee) ; Leinveber, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with methods for description of heart rate variability and arterial blood pressure. An important mechanism for maintaining homoeostasis in the body is so called baroreflex feedback loop, which allows for a short-term regulation of blood pressure. The thesis contains description of methods which are currently used for baroreflex sensitivity evaluation. Analysis in time domain as well as in frequency domain was done using programs in Matlab environment. At the end of the thesis the influence of ventricular extrasystoles on output parameter is evaluated.
Continuous measurement of blood pressure
Kopčil, Petr ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Nováková, Zuzana (advisor)
This paper deals with the physiology of cardiovascular system, explains elementary principles related to blood flow physiology and describes some basic mechanisms for regulation and blood pressure measurement. The paper also includes a description of the medical device, known as the Finometer (FMS, Netherlands), for continuous non-invasive blood pressure measurement and suggests a way to data export from this device to a text file. It introduces user friendly application to manage recorded data written in MATLAB. There is a statistical test to assess the difference between two statistical data files in the last chapter of this paper which includes a comparison our results with studies made in Czech Republic and other countries too.
Analysis of pulse wave velocity variability
Benešová, Lenka ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Svačinová, Jana (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the variability of pulse wave velocity. It studies the variability of cardiovascular signals. It presents the research of measurement of pulse wave velocity and its analysis in physiology and pathological physiology. Applies spectral analysis in Matlab to a data set. It evaluates and reviews the results of this analysis
