Holy Trinity Church in Klášterec nad Ohří

Holy Trinity church in Klášterec nad Ohří Abstract Hоly Trinity Church was built in the mid-sixties of the 17th century. The construction was ordered by Count Michаel Oswald Thun and it was a part of a Baroque rebuilding of his estate in Klášterec. Among the other contruction projects were e.g. the reconstruction of the castle, building of sala terrena and founding of extensive gardens, decorated with sculptures from the early Baroque sculptor Jаn Brоkoff. Plans for the church were developed by a significant architect Cаrlo Lurаgo and construction was realized by builder Rossi de Luca. The plans, however, differ from the final form of the church. In my thesis i summarize the knowledge about the church I found and try to look into drew defign of towerd facade of the church from architect Lurago. And the goal of my work is to connect his design with similar buildings.

Ignaz Fr. Platzer's designs of sculptural for the church Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary in Teplá

This work deals with Platzers family, especially with Ignac Frantisek Platzer, from his workshop were preserved an incredible amount of sketches and drawing, for which has not been given sufficient attention so far. Out of a large number of masterpieces conserved in the National Gallery of Prague, will be processed just the part connected with monastery in Teplá where for the church Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary was made a complete sculptural decorations by his workshop. Czech Baroque Art-The Hospital Kuks

The diploma thesis deals with lives and masterpieces of the most important baroque artists and architectures. There are also descriptions of their works. The practical part of the thesis deals with the Kuks' area, the hospitál and spa, its historical, artistic and practical value. Lives of patients and nurses are also mentioned as well as the present-day situation of the Kuks' area and nearby Christian crib. There is a reference to F. A. Špork. He was an important man of that time who supported artists and gave an order for the project of Kuks' area.
