Tax Management in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

The dissertation thesis deals with the issue of tax management and defines the concept of tax management due to its use for small and medium-sized enterprises. The thesis deals with the current view on company tax liability management and is focused on the methods of tax planning, which expands in the historical context that stood at the birth of this new and in recent year’s constantly expanding phenomenon. A part of the dissertation thesis is innovation of methods that lead to management of company tax liability. The proposed method allows optimizing of the tax liability of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the Czech Republic.

The paper deals with tourism in Slovácko region, focusing on specifying attractive features of Slovácko as area wealthy on traditional folkloric elements, expressive orientation on vinicultural theme and cyclists' tourism. Thesis further defines threats, i. e. barriers limiting tourism development in destination, suggests possi-bilities of further development of tourism in Slovácko. Aim of the paper is to esti-mate level of tourism in destination and propose possible expansion of services portfolio.

Barriers of suburban development between Pardubice and Hradec Králové

A significant suburban development is under way in some municipalities around Pardubice and Hradec Králové nowadays. The bachelor thesis is focused on identification of the municipalities that had not developed themselves in the period from 2000 till today and also on determining the causes of this different development. The not developing municipalities were found mainly close to the border with Central Bohemia region. It is probably caused by weaker influence of regional centres and lower attractiveness that due to worse accessibility to Pardubice and Hradec Králové. The case study compared municipality Namčice and Podůlšany, which had really different development. The different attitudes of mayors were identified as a main difference between these municipalities. The mayor of Podůlšany has a negative attitude to further development, whereas the mayor of Němčice has a positive attitude and actively supports further development.

Rozvoj dobrovolnictví v okrese Třebíč

This bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of volunteering. The main objective is to suggest a recommendation for development of volunteering in the district of Třebíč through the volunteer center STŘED, including a financial enumeration. The first part consists of definitions of the basic concepts related to this topic, provides a historical context, outlines the legislation and shows the differences within the regions. The second part consists of a qualitative research based on which I will suggest the final recommendation. The qualitative research will be made in the form of interviews and a document analysis.

Possibilities and barriers of development of statuory city Zlín

This diploma thesis which is devided into four parts is trying to map the current state of the statuory city Zlín and identify opportunities and barriers of its further development. The first section provides a theoretical basis for understanding the problems of cities and municipal development and also introduces the method of SWOT analysis, which is used in this thesis as well. Second, the most extensive section is devoted to an socioeconomic analysis and constitutes a basis for the next two chapters. The analysis is divided thematically and tries to outline the development and current situation of the city. The third part consists of a SWOT analysis of Zlín, which describes its strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the future. Last, the fourth chapter shows the possibilities and barriers to the development of the city, divided into six thematic groups: population; business environment, transport, environment, culture, sport and leisure, tourism and public administration. It also outlines how to exploit opportunities and overcome barriers.
