Private equity investments in the Czech Republic

Private equity investments belong to alternative investments. They are based on investing into non-public firms. Private equity can be devided in two groups. In the first case starting and expanding companies are being sought(venture capital), the second choice consists of buying established companies(private equity in closer). In both cases the necessary assumption is a high potential of the particular company so the investor can re-sell the business in few years for profit. As will be shown on five different investment cases from Czech environment, high returns on capital are compensated by high risk -- particularly by low liquidity and by a threat of wrong market estimation.

Analysis of a renewal of a company fleet

The objective of the thesis is to find appropriate methods for creation and classification of an investment project that should be created while using these methods. The variants drawn were: purchase of the investment by a bank loan, fincial leasing with 30% extra refund, distribution of finshed products by hiring transport or hiring the vehicles using operative leasing and discounted cash flow method. Hiring of the transport was found the most reasonable variant for the company. The purchase of own vehicles is disadvantageous.

Financing long term property in firm with international participation with international and intranational truck and automobile transport

The base of the dissertation was the characteristics of the long-term corporeal property and possibilities of its financing. The topic was further developed in the practical part of the dissertation on possible use in Handy-trans company. Cash payment, leasing and bank credit belong among the described alternatives. Advantages and disadvantages of these forms of payment are also mentioned in the dissertation. There are also mentioned accounting regulations connected with long-term property. In the practical part all the long-term corporeal property, purchased since the establishment of the company, is described. The pricing load for the company, the company where the item was purchased or which provided money for purchasing the item, are also mentioned at each item. The most advantageous variant is chosen for the given company. The most optimal alternative seems to be the purchase through leasing despite the difficulties with getting the bank credit in this difficult economic time. The cash payment is not possible due to the size of the company. It could significantly influence liquidity and pecuniary stability of the company.

Leasing Market and Bank Loan

This diploma project focuses on evaluation and recommendation of the most efficient form of financing in the case of an acquisition of a long-term corporeal property if the company does not have enough financial means as well as on the Czech leasing trade trends ascertainment, description of development in the period 2003 to 2007 and proposition of the future progress prediction. The project firstly deals with the principles and meanings of the leasing, its division and processes from the leasing company selection to final contract signature. A space is also devoted to the Czech law adaptation, leasing insurance and bank loans division and processes. In the practical part a comparison of the acquisition of a long-term corporeal property by a leasing and a bank loan is shown while the analysis is made with the help of the current money value. The project contains detailed information of the events of the Czech leasing market, its concentration, operational and financial leasing development, movable and fixed property leasing development and its trends.

The Analysis on Financing of Credit Financial Instruments for Small Businesses

This thesis deals with the analysis of the credit process as a form of financing from foreign sources The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the characteristics of the credit business, furthermore with explanation of the terms connected with bank loans, which are the main focus of the theoretical part. Not least, alternative forms of financing are mentioned, which banks offer next to the credits mostly by means of their branches. The practical part analyzes the process of credit offers in the chosen banking institutions, the application process of granting the loan for buying a car i.e. what an applicant has to hand in and which conditions he has to fulfill, so that the bank would in general accept his application. At the same time, some leasing companies were addressed with an application for a not {--} binding offer for the same object of financing. On the basis of performed calculations it has been found that the financing of the bank loan is more advantageous for the company than leasing and that the client gets more easily a bank loan in the bank, in which he has a checking account

Current Assets Purchase By The Medium Of Leasing,Credit Sale Or Credit

The objective of this bachelor thesis was the description of the different alternatives of purchase of long-term tangible property in conditions of a concrete accounting entity. Different alternatives can be taken into account, for exemple: internal resources, by the medium of leasing, bank loan or installment financing. In my thesis all methods mentioned above are described both from fiscal and accounting point of view. Further the advantages and disadvantages concerning the methods are mentioned. In practical part there is a concrete realization of purchase of long-term tangible property in conditions of a concrete accounting entity. Billing, accounting procedures, total cost numeration and tax savings are depicted on this tangible property. In conditions of the concrete accounting entity according to the total comparison - the best alternative from the fiscal point of view is chosen .The best alternative from minimum cost point of view is the purchase by the medium of installment financing. This alternative will be appropriate when the company doesn´t have enough internal financial resources.

Financial instruments - The comparison between leasing and credit

The main objective of these graduation theses is to compare two most common way of external sources of financing of an investment, leasing and bank loan. Real case of an company is trying to find out, how an amendment of the tax act influences individual source of financing and furthermore, if the generality saying that leasing is a advantage to loan is still valid.
