This thesis is concerned with creating applications for touchscreen phones with the operating system Bada. The objective of this application is to allow users to search the web using their voice. We introduce with Samsung Wave for which this application was developed. In addition we look at the results of the recognizer processing, auto-complete, and their combination.

This thesis deals with comparison of two mobile device platforms Samsung bada and Google Android, primarily from a point of view of native application development. Native applications features, graphics and media support as well as developer tools are compared. As a part of this thesis, an application was created - a variety of a classic Snake game. This text describes design of this application, differences in the implementation, and discusses possibilities of application porting between the platforms.

Alarm Clock with Sleep Analysis for BADA Smartphone

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of an intelligent alarm clock with sleep analysis by phone running on Bada platform. First, we talk about problems of sleep, sleep stages REM and NREM and their possible capture with accelerometers. Following section describes the platform and available development tools. Analysis and implementation of the application are described in second half of the document. Last, we talk about testing and experimentation with the application during sleep.
