Analysis of DDos data with clustering
Krátký, Matěj ; Šišmiš, Lukáš (referee) ; Setinský, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the detection of distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks using clustering algorithms. In the first part, different types of DDoS attacks and approaches to identify them are described. Next, the thesis studies clustering methods, specifically hierarchical and k-means clustering, for analyzing the network traffic associated with these attacks. It also includes the design of a detection system suitable for detecting DDoS attacks. This is followed by a description of the implementation of this system required for the analysis phase. The main part of the work consists of performing experiments on the available dataset and evaluating the effectiveness of the methods, parameters and attributes combinations used. Finally, the thesis discusses the application of the findings and the possibilities for further research in this area.
Mapping survey of the SOS children's village in Brno-Medlánky
Vítek, František ; Nosek, Jakub (referee) ; Kuruc, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the update of the thematic map of the SOS village area in Brno-Medlánky and its subsequent conversion into a geographic information system environment. The thesis describes the entire process of updating the thematic map from reconnaissance and field data collection to computational and graphic processing. Furthermore, it outlines the conversion of the map into the QGIS software. The main outputs of the thesis are the purpose map at a scale of 1:500, and a project in QGIS containing map elements converted into a shapefile format.
Biometric fingerprint liveness detection
Rišian, Lukáš ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of biometric fingerprint liveness recognition. The aim of the thesis is to propose a solution that reliably and securely recognizes fake fingerprints from genuine ones. Specifically, the work focuses on investigating methods for detecting fingerprint liveness using software tools, creating a custom fingerprint test database, testing and identifying relevant characteristics for successful liveness detection, and using them to implement fingerprint liveness recognition algorithms. Another goal was to create a GUI to provide a tool for overall detection. The work includes an analysis of the basics of biometrics, fingerprint characteristics and structure, current sensors used for fingerprint extraction, databases used, image preprocessing methods, tested features, implemented algorithms, and two GUI variants. More than 180 different image features were tested and more than 20 variants of algorithms were implemented. From these algorithms, the best ones were selected, whose detection results were then compared with those of foreign authors. The best algorithm achieved an accuracy of almost 90%, which can be considered a reliable and satisfactory result compared to foreign authors.
Attribute based authentication
Chwastková, Šárka ; Hajný, Jan (referee) ; Dzurenda, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with attribute based credentials. It describes attribute systems, their entities and properties generally. The work concentrates specifically on the attribute system Identity Mixer. The process of communication of the attribute system Identity Mixer is implemented in the language of JavaScript. Application is the web visualization, which describes protocols, entities and generally computes protocols of Identity Mixer with inputs of small numbers or predefined large numbers.
Requirements for manager of the construction company
Malková, Darina ; Louda, Pavel (referee) ; Linkeschová, Dana (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with the requirements for manager of the construction company. The theoretical part focused on manager attributes, knowledge, managerial activities and the ability to lead the team. The practical part bachelor’s thesis based on the hypotheses, which I checked by a questionnaire survey. This survey finds especially which requirements are placed on managers in the construction company and whether students of Faculty of Civil Engineering Brno University of Technology are comply with these requirements.
Plagiarism detection in programme codes
Skoupilová, Alena ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Kašpar, Jakub (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to introduce the meaning of plagiarism and its types and occuration in academic field in form of textual plagiarism and mainly source-code plagiarism. Thesis also introduces principals and types of source-code plagiarism detection and introduces existing detecting tools. A detector for computing source-code similarity based on detection and counting chosen attributes is being realized and described. Reability of the detector is tested within students’ projects database.
Intelligent features classification aimed to support diagnosis of glaucoma
Vykoupil, Pavel ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Odstrčilík, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with inteligent features classification aimed to support diagnosis of glaucoma. First part focuses on eye anatomy and disease called glaucoma. In next part is briefly described texture analysis and how do we get attributes for classification. In last part it is dealt with attribute classification with the aid of neural networks and algorithm HoKashyap and AdaBoost. This thesis is therefore focused on comparing effectivity of these classifiers on the field of optical diagnostics which was managed successfully.
Plagiarism detection of program codes
Kašpar, Jakub ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
Main goal of this work is to get acquainted with the plagiarism problem and propose the methods that will lead to detection of plagiarism in program codes. In the first part of this paper different types of plagiarism and some methods of detection are introduced. In the next part the preprocessing and attributes detection is described. Than the new method of detection and adaptive weights usage is proposed. Last part summarizes the results of the detector testing on the student projects database
Automatic Image Labelling
Lukáč, Michal ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This thesis focuses on automatic image labelling to semantic categories. It describes the theory of classif cation and local features detection. It explains fundamental machine learning models used for image tagging, and how such models can be learned with Gradient descent. It propose solution with hierarchy for ImageNet and tagging images with attributes. MapReduce computing model is considered for learning on big data sets. In the last part it is described implementation, experimental and test results.
The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Rating of Suppliers
Rusňáková, Alexandra ; Janková, Zuzana (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the evaluation of suppliers for the needs of the company MOTOSTYLE PLANET s.r.o using the knowledge of advanced decision-making methods. The fuzzy logic method used is solved using MS Excel and MATLAB. The model is built on the basis of criteria formed for the needs of the company and in the conclusion it pronounces a recommendation in the selection of the supplier.
