IEEE 802.15.4 range measurements
Komadel, Lukáš ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
In the master’s thesis IEEE 802.15.4 Range measurements I want to find out, whether atmospheric conditions have influence over the quality of communication between two ZigBee modules. I would like found the answer by long-time test, because I can’t found the proper place for the measuring, I must found the answer in the literature. In the second part of the master’s thesis I measuring, whether placing one of the module in the car have influence over the quality of communication. The module was placing in the various places in the car, on a dashboard, on a guest-passenger’s seat, in a pocket before guest-passenger and in luggage compartment. The car for the measuring was used Renaul Scénic my. 2004.
Simulation model of an aircraft internal combustion piston engine
Olšovský, Petr ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with creating a real-time simulation model of an aircraft piston engine with emphasis on heating and cooling of the engine cylinders. First part of this thesis focuses on characteristics of aircraft engines and differences with regular automotive engines. The next chapter describes the dependence of engine parameters on atmospheric conditions. The description of the real time model itself follows next. The results of the simulation model are presented and analysed at the end of this thesis.
Quantum Cryptography And Laser Data Transfers
Litwora, Martin ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The purpose of this work was to explore and describe the possibilities of quantum key distribution. Describe individual protocols based on quantum mechanics, and different variants of quantum channels of wireless laser connections. At the same time, analyze individual encryption algorithms from the point of view of their security, energy consumption and encryption speed. Furthermore, part of the work included measuring the transfer properties of a real system for the quantum key distribution, including measuring the attenuation of a given connection using an attenuation cell. The goal then was to apply the measurement results to laser data transfers. Laser connections are affected by atmospheric conditions, especially cloud cover. For these purposes, a simulation tool was created that serves to simulate laser quantum channels in the atmosphere.
Fabrication of nanostructures on graphene using AFM mechanical lithography and observation of their electronic response
Belko, Peter ; Švarc, Vojtěch (referee) ; Bartošík, Miroslav (advisor)
Graphene is a suitable material for future sensors and biosensors due to its high sensitivity to the presence of adsorbents, low thermal noise, and biocompatibility. This work focuses on the lateral shaping of graphene on SiO2 using atomic force microscope-based mechanical lithography. The created barriers exhibit resistances on the order of hundreds of G and are applicable for nanosensor fabrication. Charge propagation is studied in this work through concurrent measurements of Kelvin probe force microscopy and macroscopic transport measurements at various humidities, corresponding to real conditions of atmospheric or solution-based sensors and biosensors.
Testing of the digital levelling instrument DiNi 22 and possibilities of its applications.
SEVERA, Tomáš
The aim of this diploma work was to test, to judge the accuracy and possibilities of applications of the digital level Trimble DiNi 22. It is a precise digital compensatory nivelating appliance, whitch together with a code invare rod answers the requirements for nivelation measuring with 0,7mm/km exactness of both - way nivelation. The exactness of measuring is always influenced by the conditions when the measuring is carried out. Atmospheric conditions infuence the measurement of all geodetic instruments and that is why the major part of this diploma work is dedicated to verifying the influence of atmospheric conditions on the accuracy of the digital level DiNi 22 measuring. For this purpose from September 06 to February 07 were repeatedly measured in different weather conditions separate points of different heights of the nivelation level line Mg 02 České Budějovice - Hluboká n. Vltavou line, which is a part of the nivelation net of IV. line.
Analysis of flood events in the Upper Opava river source area
Lautnerová, Lucie ; Kliment, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Langhammer, Jakub (referee)
Present days are characterized by raising awareness of natural hazards, especially the risk of flood events. Extreme floods are connected with large - scale material damage and also endanger human lives. That's why the issue of flood formation and its possibility of forecasting has became disccused topic these days. Research of passed floods provides principles of effective flood protection in specific area. The main aim of this thesis is to analyse flood events that passed in the uper Opava river basin, concretely the source area containing the Černá, Střední and Bílá Opava river basins. This analysis refers about the flood frequency, different seasonal regime of floods occurence and looks for the relationship between atmospheric conditions and origin of flood events in the period of 1963 to 1997. Part of this thesis also summarizes main types of floods raised in the source area and compares different flood threat of the Černá, Střední and Bílá Opava rivers. There is also mentioned some basic differences of drainage formation, natural conditions and rainfall distribution in specific catchment area.
