Application of the Digital Image Correlation Method for Asphalt Mixture Testing
Gavula, Dávid ; Dašek, Ondřej (referee) ; Šperka, Pavel (advisor)
Today's era offers more innovative methods for testing asphalt mixtures compared to conventional ones. The digital image correlation method is increasingly being used to supplement or even replace some asphalt mix testing procedures. The aim of this thesis is to verify the possible positive use of this method in further asphalt mix testing. In the theoretical part, the DIC method and the scientific papers in which the DIC method has been used in selected asphalt mixtures tests are presented. In the practical part, test bodies are first made from the asphalt mixture and then these bodies are subjected to a modified fatigue resistance test according to the norm ČSN EN 12697-24, whereby the use of the DIC method is investigated for the possible representation of crack initiation and actual crack development.

Resistance of asphalt binder and asphalt mixture against deformation
Dubšíková, Karolína ; Coufalík, Pavel (referee) ; Dašek, Ondřej (advisor)
Subject of this bachelor´s thesis is to describe laboratory properties of asphalt binders in relation to permanent deformation. The principle and procedure of empirical tests needle penetration and softening point will be explained in the theoretical part. The principle and procedure of MSCR test will be also described. The properties of four asphalt binders will be evaluated in practical part. These binders will be used for production of asphalt mixtures, which will be subjected to wheel tracking test and their results will be compared.

Recycled aggregates to asphalt mixtures of the flexible pavements
Kropáč, Pavel ; Zdřálek, Petr (referee) ; Stehlík, Dušan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the theoretical part of the creation, distribution and recycling of construction and demolition waste. Subsequently covers made from these recycled construction and demolition waste and its potential application in structural layers of the pavement. In the practical part of the thesis deals with monitoring the overall properties of nine asphalt mixtures with different proportion of recycled concrete aggregate and asphalt binder, which are designed and intended for bed asphalt pavement. The recycled concrete aggregate and asphalt are performed various laboratory tests, the results are subjected to a comparison with the relevant standards and TP 210. The conclusion is made price comparisons of asphalt mixtures.

ASFALT IS LIQUID
Prokop, Tomáš ; Novotný, Jaromír (referee) ; Ambrůz, Jan (advisor)
This installation is thematicly associated with my long term sold problems which is connected with loneliness, parting, leaving. I put the stress on the act of physical nearness which looks like a touch or contact but in fact it isn't so. Just this nearness generates inside tension. As you can see the installation is based on simple principles resulting from the abilities of a material. It is about two blocks of asphalt which spontanously produce a pressure on the glass. In this case the glass has the importance of imaginary dividing level which prevents a physical contact. A glass obstacle makes the fusion of the two asphalt blocks impossible. Despite a volatile character, asphalt will run down. The installation results from a human standard because the blocks of asphalt have a human proportion. I give the blocks a statute of beings who long for a touch but without success. The fusion is impossible.

Influence of temperature on the penetration of asphalt binders
Koblížek, Ondřej ; Koudelka,, Tomáš (referee) ; Dašek, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with an influence of temperature on the needle penetration results of tested bitumens in various test temperatures. The theoretical part describes the issue of laboratory tests in the world. This work also describes the american research program called SHRP (American Highway Research Program). The following part explains used test methods in detail (determination of needle penetration, determination of the softening point – ring and ball method). The practical part briefly introduces used materials and determines the results of laboratory tests and their comparison.

Recycling of asphalt mixtures with higher amount of RAP
Klimek, Matěj ; Koudelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Varaus, Michal (advisor)
The theoretical part of the diploma thesis recapitulates the existing literature in the field of recycling asphalt mixtures with a higher content of RAP (Reclaimed asphalt pavement). The practical part of the diploma thesis examines changes in the properties of asphalt mixtures with a higher content of RAP, due to changes in mixing time. Five mixtures have been proposed for this research. It is an asphalt mixture intended for the road abrasive layer (ACO 11+). Reference mixture "A" without RAP, with a standard mixing time of 25 seconds. Mixture "B" with 40% RAP, without rejuvenator, with an extended mixing time of 40 seconds. Mixture "C" with 40% RAP, with rejuvenator and standard mixing time. Mixture "D" with 40% RAP with rejuvenator and extended mixing time of 40 seconds. Mixture "E" with 40% RAP, with rejuvenator and extended mixing time of 55 seconds.

Influence of boundary conditions on the aging index of asphalt binders
Štohlová, Barbora ; Koudelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Dašek, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with an influence of several boundary conditions on the aging index of various modified asphalt binders. In the thesis there is rheology and modification of asphalt binders, types of ageing (short-term, long-term) and used tests (needle penetration, softening point, complex shear modulus, phase angle, aging tests) described. In the second part there is a brief description of used materials and comparison of the test results on these materials.
