A Proposal for a Methodology of a Knee Joint Replacement Femoral Part 3D Model Creation
Kodys, Martin ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Madaj, Martin (advisor)
The aim of the Diploma Thesis is to propose the methodology of a 3D model creation of a femoral part of a knee joint replacement. As the knee joint is the most loaded joint of the human body, the function, description and biomechanics relation is described in first part of the Thesis. The second part is focused on degenerative damage of knee joints that leads to the implantation of standard knee joint replacements. The third part deals with the construction of standard knee joint replacements and their surgery implantation. The last part of the Thesis describes the creation of an individual knee joint replacement, especially the femoral part.

Moreover I will be able to understand the function and the structure of wrist joint. Summary My bachelor thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is called general part and I mention a brief description of the anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the wrist joint. Ethiopathogenesis and proper therapeutic plan is mentioned below. The second part which is the practical (special) part give us all the proper information about the patient's anamnesis, all the examination that where performed and also my therapeutic plan that I proceed to my patient for six days by using special strengthening exercises, Propriomed, myorelaxation techniques and modalities like magnetotherapy. Results After six sessions the situation of my patient was improved. The main goals have been accomplished. The pain was decrease and there was greater ROM of the wrist joint. The patient was able in the end to be active and confident without the sign of pain which was...

The abstract of my study deals with the treatment of patient after total hip replacement of right hip joint after repetitive unhelpful rehabilitations of the right hip the pain was lasting from 4 years and now even during the night. My practice was at University Hospital Vinohrady. The physiotherapy program started on 16.01.2019 and ended on 29.01.2019. My thesis branched into two parts: theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part analysis everything related to the hip muscles, joints, ligaments, bones, nerves also the biomechanical and kinesiological point of view about the hip joint. In the practical part, after analysis eight sessions with my patient. Which include, all the examinations, therapy, conclusions and results. The patient had the operation at ORT. FNKV hospital at 08.01.2019. Goal of the therapy is to decrease oedema and pain, to increase rom, to increase mobility and elasticity of all soft tissues skin, fascia, ligaments, muscles, strengthening of the right leg, stability of the left leg. After making the final kinesiological examinations in comparison with the initial was significant improvement, as rom of the hip and knee joint of the right leg, strength, mobility and elasticity of the skin was improved, and oedema and pain according to VAS scale was decreased, also the...

Degenerative joint disease in bioarcheology
Müllerová, Soňa ; Velemínský, Petr (advisor) ; Kuželka, Vítězslav (referee)
This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part aims to summarize the basics of etiology - issues of degenerative joint disease (DJD), firstly from the medical point of view and subsequently from the perspective of bioarchaeology. The next chapter offers a list of assessment options for degenerative joint disease in large axial joints and the spinal joints. It describes 10 methods used for assessment of DJD in axial joints, 13 methods for intervertebral joints and 4 methods for apophyseal joints. In the last part, there are examples of degenerative joint disease cases observed in a population-based study of human skeletal remains uncovered in the domain of today's Czech Republic. The main aim was to create a summary of incidence of this disease from the Bronze Age to present. Considering the fact that all hitherto carried out studies in this field were merely realized in large population groups with good preservation of skeletal remains, only studies of skeletal remains dating back to the early Middle Ages were selected (Mikulčice- Valy, Kostelisko, Josefov). Therefore, only the incidence of DJD in the mediaeval population could have been described. In other prehistoric and historic eras the degenerative joint disease cases were not assessed in detail, by the epidemiological approach or...

Effect of nutrition and movement to the arthritis-bearing joints with the bearing joints with the
FIŠEROVÁ, Petra
This thesis deals with arthritis of weight-bearing joints related to the lifestyle of clients. It focuses on negative aspects and risk factors which lead to the disease, and which worsen the disease to the point when total joint prosthesis is necessary. The risk factors include overweight and obesity (high BMI), certain kinds of sports, knee injuries, smoking, sedentary lifestyle etc. A part of this thesis is an extensive questionnaire survey among clients of orthopaedic department of the hospital in České Budějovice. The data analysis proved connection between arthritis, overweight/obesity, and lifestyle of clients.
The doctor and nurse cooperation in the center for patients undergoing a principal joint aloplasty
RAZIMOVÁ, Lada
Motoric system diseases belong to the most frequent ones in the present days. All age categories are affected. Congenital defects are included and also injuries, inflammations, degenerative illnesses and others. In the Czech republic are many centers gathering patients with the same diseases. However the centers for orthopedic patients are missing. The dissertation is divided into a theoretic and empiric parts. The theoretic one is focused generally on problems with joint replacements, rehabilitation and relation between a medic and a patient. The dissertation was targeted on: 1. To verify if the informing about the subsequent postop nursing care provided in the center for patients undergoing aloplasty comes up to a patient?s expectations and fulfils their needs. 2. To find out if hospital nurses perceive the difference in the patient engagement in the nursing care according to if he had visited the center before or not. 3. To reveal potential problems in the center running from the patient, nurse and doctor point of view. The research part of the dissertation was implemented with a combination of both qualitative and quantitative survey. For quantitative survey was chosen a method of questioning with a form technique for patients (after a hip or a knee aloplasty) in the Czech republic and Austria and also for nurses working in the orthopedic department and intensive care unit in the Pelhřimov hospital. Three hypotheses were established. 1. The given nursing care informations provided in the center for patients undergoing aloplasties fulfil the patient?s needs. 2. The hospital nurses assess a significant difference in the patient?s collaboration between those who had visited the center before and who had not. 3. In the center for patients waiting for aloplasty daily running there exist problems from the nurse?s point of view. As for the qualitative part of survey a method of questioning with the technique of a semistructured dialog with open questions was used. The research file was created by patients after principal joints aloplasties. In this part we have tried to answer three main questions. 1. What is the relationship between both hospital and the center nurse activities and the patient?s contentment in the sphere of his needs? 2. What sorts of informations for the patients in the center are missing? 3. The patients evaluate the informations provided in the center as orientational or as significant for easier postop care managing? The results of the research survey were analysed and taken in schemes. Patients suffer from disturbing their both physical and psychological needs and so the goal of collaboration is a satisfied and fully informed patient. From the results it is apparent that a nurse in the center closely cooperates with a hospital nurse. The survey revealed that the patients in the center are missing no informations. The patients are prepared for the operation, orient themselves in the related problems know what comes with the rehabilitation as an important part of the postop care. To be concluded: patients are prepared for easier postop care managing. On the basis of analysis of respondent?s answers it was found that the patients undergoing a principal joint aloplasty are sufficiently informed. Although hospital nurses and doctors sense the difference between a patient who had visited the center before and who had not the stimulus for subsequent survey could be how the patients perceive the differentness of info provided within the center and out of it. The survey results could be a stimulus for establishing new centers not only within Vysočina but also in Austria. In the relation with the dissertation results and on the basis of info provided in the center when the patients assessed the info as sufficient for them an informing prospectus was created. The dissertation could serve as an informational material for students not only in the nursing profession.
