Optimal layout proposal of technological workplaces at a small mechanical engineering company

The bachelor thesis deals with the optimization of the arrangement of technological workplaces in a small engineering company of Mr. Benes. Technological designing is used for this optimization. The thesis contains a literature search that explains the basic concepts and procedures used to create these designs. Evaluation of the current state is used to identify the items necessary for optimization. New proposals are based on capacity calculation. They are aimed at improving working conditions and handling areas. The findings are verified from the economic point of view and in the end the most suitable variant is chosen.

The diploma thesis deals with technological design. The aim is to improve the layout of machinery on production areas and social facilities on auxiliary areas. The method of storage and material handling is also optimized. The thesis consists of a literature research, which explains selected concepts and basic procedures of technological design. The evaluation of the current state will present the workshop complex, its shortcomings and objects intended for improvement. The results of the capacity calculation made for the selected production representative are used as a basis for new designs. The new concepts of production workshops are focused on improving the production process in terms of the way machines are arranged, material handling and work safety. But also to improve the social and administrative background by optimizing day rooms, changing rooms and washrooms. The cost estimate for specific proposals and the selection of the most suitable variant form the final part.

Design of Technological Workplaces Layout in the Workshop

This master’s thesis focusing on design of technological workplaces layout in the workshop of trading and manufacturing company, which offers range of industrial gaskets. The main part of thesis is a detailed analysis, which includes description of the production processes and system in workshop of surface finishes that is scheduled for modernization of spaces. On the basis of this analysis will be using selected methods recommended solutions, which will help decide what types of production equipment purchase and how to deploy technology work in new premises.
