Trends in the Production of Animated Films

In my master diploma thesis, I try to map the current situation and actual trends with respect to creative, financial and production processes. I focus on film, television and other productions. The greatest emphasis is put on the producer?s point of view. The Introduction focuses on the specifics of the animated film and is followed by chapters focusing on the situation in the Czech Republic. In addition to describing the current situation on the scene of animated film I try to explain the use of the principles of animation in other branches of the entertainment industry. In the last part of my thesis, I offer a summary of interviews with producers of contemporary animated feature films. I am interested in the circumstances of the development of the film, ways of working with the script, attitude to new technologies and specific problems related to the realization.
Animation oeuvre of Libuše Čihařová

This thesis deals with the animation oeuvre of Libuše Čihařová. The first part describes the history of Afit and Studio Bratři v triku and the first experience of Libuše Čihařová in Studio Bratři v triku. The next part is devoted to her drawing and animating work in 1950?s and 1960?s. The third part deals with beginning of Večerníček, a TV programme for children and also short films and serials that Libuše Čihařová animated. The last part id devoted mostly to her works as a director and a pedagogue. This thesis also explores acknowledged films and great directors with whom Libuše Čihařová worked. Two intervews with Libuše Čihařová are parts of the thesis.

Animated Video Clip in Art Education at Basic School

The thesis focuses on ways of creating an animated video clip as part of art education at basic school and on various views of art as a school subject, in which multimedia creation is used. The theoretical part describes the animated film as a specific way of intermedia expression in the context of past and contemporary art. It deals with the origin and history of animated film and describes the production and various techniques used for its creation. It analyzes the scope for the creation of an animated video clip in intermedia and experimental activities in art education at basic school. The practical part contains the implementation and reflection of my own art lessons focusing on the creation of animated video clip in class 5.B at Lerchova school in Sušice in 2013.
Břetislav Pojar and Utilization of Basic Animation Technique in Art at Elementary School

The Thesis is focused on life and work of Břetislav Pojar. It is also focused on animated film and gives instructions for basic animation technique, which could be utilized in Art at elementary school. The life of Bretislav Pojar and his work are introduced in the theoretical part of this Thesis. The history of Czech and world animated film and its creators are also introduced. My own lessons are included in a project, which is described in practical part. This project is focused on animation and it was realized in Art. This part also included the reflection from implementation of project. There are photograps of children working on their animations at the end of this Thesis.

The purpose of this text is to reassess the animation like an aesthetics human practice even out of the cinematographic field. An important resource are the Semir Zeki`s investigations about neuroaesthetics. Im going to review the origin and historic course of animation from the prehistory, bearing in mind the human evolutive process of perception (body-brain) and the human development from childhood that makes possible the existence of the animation. For that, as example, Im going to put into context the animated Films of the czech filmmaker Michaela Pavlátová. Her live related to animation and the characteristics of her Films will appear as motive(motivation) to expand ideas like how the environment can influence the way to represent the space, or the relations between politic and czech animation, or how works the perception of color in the brain, or the importance of the faces in social relationships, and how that motives appears and becomes art across author hands.
A family animation film as a phenomen of today

This work follows a family animation feature film. A reader will know sequencial progression of a family animation film from history to recent years. He will meet the first family films in the world and in the Czech Republic. I will mention a family television production too. There will be a psychologist opinion and what a human likes in his age. I hope this work will useful for everyone who wants to know more about that theme.
The journey into the depths of Švankmajer's art creation

The Bachelor thesis discusses the work of Czech artist, animator and director Jan Svankmajer and the possibilities of interpretation of his work. At first the thesis deals with a problematic issue of artistic (surrealist) interpretation of work according to psychoanalysis, with regard to the development of the discipline. Further the thesis monitors selected aspects of artistic creation due to the work of Svankmajer. The theoretical models are applied in the next part of the bachelor thesis, during the analyzing the movies of Jan Svankmajer and its central themes penetrated whole his creation. The study aims to find, if possible, an adequate method of interpretation and insight into the creation of a particular artist-Jan Svankmajer (with the emphasis on the differences of view on the work of acclaimed artists against the creation of a layman or a client in the therapy) in accordance with the point of view of Rožnov school of art-therapy.
Contemporary circus as a method of animation

The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to introduce the contemporary circus as a method of animation. The thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical and a practical one. In the theoretical part, I am defining the terms contemporary circus and animation, and describing the history of the contemporary circus. In the practical part, the festival called "Kratochvílení" is presented as a method of animation of the cultural landmark. The conclusion summarizes the positive and the negative effects of the festival on the landmark and describes the economical productivity.
Realization of animation programs in tourism

This thesis is devoted to animation programs in tourism. It describes various types of animation activities within hotel entertainment programs and the process of their realization (sport activities, culture and fun activities, activities for children and teenagers etc). The thesis contains theoretical description of animation programs and reveals some problematic areas in practice of hotel animation.
