Lochová, Monika ; Gajdošíková, Pavla (advisor) ; Vačkář, Adam (referee)
Key words: analog photography, experiment, landscape, the changing of landscape, stylization, transformation, typography. The bachelor thesis with the name "Hidden typography of landscape and its use in art education" deals with the monotony of landscape with the aid of looking at it through different perspectives. It maps its extraordinary side and variability. It analyses the character of a landscape that surrounds us everyday and becomes our home. In the theoretical part it searches for heterogeneous painting approaches and for a concept that sees the landscape as a carrier of sense in historical context. The unconventional approach towards landscape, becomes the measuring scale, which delimits broad painting perspectives especially of the 20th and 21st century. It mentions artist who are also engaged in similar topics and are reacting to the stereotypical approach of landscape scenery. In the practical part the author of the thesis is looking for the unconventional part of a landscape and records it on an analog camera. She will then herself develop the film. A cycle of black and white photos will be created which will become a motive for the transformation of landscape and for the formation of foreshortening. Photo Album and its Transformation in Cyberspace
Pešavová, Monika ; Fišerová, Michaela (advisor) ; Černý, Vladimír (referee)
Photo Album and its Transformation in Cyberspace Abstract My thesis deals with the difference in the perception of photo albums in the digital and analog era. Her goal is the reflection of change of a collection of a photographic material from an intimate information to a publicly accessible online self-presentation. This leads to the change in functionality of the photographical media which originally preserved the reality and now creates it. It's the excess of modification of modern photos which leads to the slow intentional return to the past back from the digital to the analog photography. Bc. Monika Pešavová

Retouch of contemporary journalistic photograph
Raszková, Ivona ; Fišerová, Michaela (advisor) ; Svoboda, Aleš (referee)
In my master thesis I deal with a retouch of contemporary journalistic photography (in the period from 90's to the present). Thus they are digital photographs, which I compare with analogue photography. Retouch of analogue photography was technically more exacting than retouch of digital photography and people couldn't imagine the way of editing photography therefore they trusted to it. I assume that the truth pretension was preserved in the case of journalistic photography. My hypothesis is that the media play upon the truth pretension of the journalistic photography. The photography should have represented the reality. But nowadays we already know that it is not have to be like that. Nevertheless detection of edited photographs evokes a scandal, a shock and a discussion. The media retouch photographs and thereby actually modify the reality. The whole my hypothesis is: The media play upon the truth pretension of the journalistic photography which they edit with use of retouch technique thereby they modify the reality and it evokes a scandal after revealing the edited photography.
