The bachelor thesis Factors affecting the development of organic agriculture in Uganda was aimed at defining the factors that influence the development of organic agriculture in this country. The PESTLE analysis and analysis of stakeholders were used for achieve the main goal. Particular factors of PESTLE, which could affect the development of OA in Uganda, were defined for needed analysis. Then their true influence was evaluated. The influence was evaluated like strong positive, positive, neutral, negative and strong negative. The strong negative affecting factors are level of corruption, infrastructure, energy, property rights and water sources. The negative affecting factors are political stability and soil. Subsidy and organic laws are considered negative. The positive affecting factors are governance, export, banking, MYC4, education, the role of women, research and development, the techniques and methods, distribution mechanisms and environmental law. The strong positive affecting factors are demand and supply, development of demography, NOGAMU, certification and clime. There was also a determining interest groups interacting with the Ugandan organic production.
Use of social network analysis in analyzing social environment of a project manager

Diploma thesis deals with the social environment of a project manager and describes different approaches in its analysis. The social environment is defined as a sum of soft factors that affect a project manager and influence the course of the project. Besides proficiency in various project management methodologies, knowledge of the project plan, and understanding of the client's field of business, awareness of the social environment is essential for eventual project success. Thesis objectives aim at defining the scope of the social environment, and presenting analysis techniques and methods, through which it is possible to enhance overall project performance. Other objectives include stating recommendations for project managers to fully comprehend their social environment, and documenting discussed findings on project related case studies -- among others also on the social networks analysis conducted in a real life project environment. The thesis describes three analysis methods -- social network analysis, stakeholder analysis, and analysis of psychological profile of the team members, which mutually complement each other and provide project managers with a comprehensive overview of their social environments. Social network analysis is elaborated on the most in detail, because it forms theoretical as well as practical introduction to the topic, and a base for further analyses.
Stakeholder Analysis in Project IS/ICT

The work is concerned with stakeholder analysis in information system project. This theme is a part of project management. The main goal is to describe process of stakeholder analysis, which is solved very poorly in technical literature. Other goals are: describe the influence on the project and possibility of prevention and solution of the most common stakeholders in detail, and briefly search the level of solution of this issue in technical literature. The work mainly draw from personal ideas, party from experiences contained in mentioned literature. The process of analysis, which is the main theme of this work, is processed almost completely on basis of personal creative activity. The document is divided into six chapters. The first one is introducing the theme, second chapter deals with basic terms, third chapter describes the stakeholder analysis, fourth chapter presents the influence of most common stakeholders and fifth chapter mentions the level of solution in source literature. The last chapter summarize all gained knowledge.
