WAWREČKOVÁ KROUPOVÁ, Miroslava
The Bachelor Thesis is focused on perception of physiotherapy in the context of comprehensive rehabilitation relating to clients living in the retirement home and the home for disabled people in Újezd near Klatovy. Recently, it used to be forgetting the physiotherapy within complex rehabilitation at the retirement home and the home for disabled people. My primary aim is to find out how the importance of physiotherapy is perceived by clients and by employees of the chosen facility. The Thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters. The first two chapters of the theoretical part are focused on population, which is growing old with regard to material security and finding the meaning of life. Old age is not a disease. It is an evolutionary normal state of every human being. In the next two chapters of the theoretical part there are described chosen homes and their function, their target clients and provided services. Following four chapters deal with tools of rehabilitation, which are connected and they are distinguished by well-timing, compactness, completeness. As a follow-up a chapter which is focused on team cooperation of which is to keep or improve quality of living in the most natural environment and prevent social excluding. The last chapter of theoretical part deals with activation activities which belong to fundamental activities provided within social services and they contribute to maintaining or improving psychological, physical and social state of seniors. The practical part contains the research which investigates clients and emploees´ opinion about physiotherapy, especially its importance during maintaining of locomotor system and its methods which are used at chosen facilities. Employees were also asked about other activation activities which can be used by their clients. The research uses a strategy of the qualitative study with a technique of the half-structured interview. During studying of personal documentation there was used the method which is called the analysis of personal data. The research is concerning six clients of the two homes and three specialized employees who work with the clients. Results of their interviews were compared and evaluated. The principal aim of the Thesis was to find out how clients perceive the importance of physiotherapy at chosen homes and obtain answers to three research questions. The first question occupied with service which is offered to clients at homes within the complex rehabilitation. The second question is focused on the subjective evaluation of service which is provided within the complex rehabilitation. And the last question deals with the employees perception how they perceive physiotherapy in connection with the complex rehabilitation. As it follows from the results, clients have a large choice of activation activities or tools of rehabilitation and that clients are satisfied at their homes. According to the opinion of respondents and employees, physiotherapy is very important in comparison to other activation activities or tools of rehabilitation, like group and individual exercise, which are the most popular. Another participation of clients in activation activities depends on current interest of taking part in activation.

ZATLOUKALOVÁ, Taťána
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to find out, if and how do the activation activities contribute to the adaptation of seniors on the stay in a chosen retirement home. Into account were taken points of view of both the social workers and seniors. In the theoretical part, the basic terms were defined. In the practical part, the research question, dealing with activation activities helping seniors with adaptation, was answered. The key research questions found out, in which way the activation activities influence the process of adaptation and which form of the activation activities helps seniors with adaptation. The method of interviewing by means of half-structured interview, as well as qualitative research strategy were chosen for the research. The analysis of the data was made with the use of clustering. The research sets were chosen with the help of a purposed choice. The first research set consisted of 3 social workers and the second one consisted of 2 senior men and 4 senior women fulfilling the choosing criteria. From the research can be derived that the activation activities do have an influence on the process of adaptation of seniors in a chosen retirement home. According to the opinion of the social workers, an activation and reminiscence of senses has an influence on the adaptation, according to the seniors it is Canine therapy. The research showed that the group form of activation helps with establishing social contacts during the adaptation, as well as with keeping up the psychical wellbeing of the seniors. Individual form of activation activities has a significant influence on adaptation of seniors with special needs. The interviewed people listed as the main benefits of the adaptation activities: establishing and maintaining social contacts, inducing positive feelings and increasing self-confidence, filling the free time and having an opportunity to relax. The results will serve as a background for improving the quality of the care and as a feedback for the employees about the meaningfulness of their work in a chosen retirement home.
Criteria of choosing an exacerbate's activities in stayses residencees for seniors
PLÍŠKOVÁ, Iva
In my work I point out the aspects that may influence the selection of the stimulation activities in residential homes for the elderly. The thesis describes the aspects and criteria that influence the choice of stimulation activities such as users' mental and physical condition, etc. One important aspect is the equipment and personnel of the institution. In the practical part I will deal in detail with Dům sv. Antonína in Moravské Budějovice, which could be, in my opinion, an exemplary institution.
