Agrotourism as a tourism phenomenon

The thesis is focused on agrotourism, which is a frugal kind of tourism, behaves to the nature, so that it burdened the least and thus support a sustainable tourism development. The aim is to describe the area of agrotourism. Theoretical part describes in detail the concept of agrotourism and explains its meaning and importance, comparing the Czech touristic environment with the foreign one, describes the institutions that operates in the agrotourism and rural tourism. The practical part is made up of a questionnaire survey, which determines whether people have the notion of tourism in the consciousness or what they mean by this term and what is their position to the agrotourism. Furthermore, the observation method is used, which describes in detail two farms. It is a farm Ko ík and a farm Zababe . Eco-friendly tourism complex Strachotín – urban and architectural study.

This diploma thesis is focused on the urban design of the selected area in the village Strachotín and the architectural design of the building in the given locality. The aim of the proposal is to connect the building with regard to the surrounding landscape and to make the locality more attractive to tourists around the northern shore of Nové Mlýny reservoirs. The design concept is based on the modular arrangement of the individual parts of the object. Functional layout is represented by a hotel, wellness, restaurant and cosmetics production.
The Business Plan for the Establishment of an Agro-tourist Pension in the Moravian-Silesian Region

The master’s thesis deals with the creation of a business plan to establish an agrotourist pension in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The first part describes concepts and definitions related to the given issue. In the second part the external and internal environment, own resources and capabilities are analysed and marketing research is performed. In the third part business plan to establish an agrotourist pension is processed based on these analysis.

The focus of diploma thesis is the analysis of present state of a farm and following evaluation its suitability for business in the system of organic production considering site conditions, structure of the company, its specialization, human factors and economical aspects. The theoretical part deals with problematics of organic agriculture and its sustainability, support of organic farmers and factors which influence farming in protected landscape areas. The practical part of the thesis is focused on evaluation of present state of the farm. Plant production and livestock production are evaluated together with possibilities of accommodation services as non-productive activities of the farm. For the evaluation of the company in terms of its suitability for business in organic agriculture SWOT analysis has been used. In conclusion, suitability of the farm for business in organic agriculture practices is evaluated. Furthermore, recommendations and proposals for initiation of the activities are added.
Rurální cestovní ruch a jeho dopady na složky životního prostředí

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare and assess the environmental, economic and social impact of services provided by the selected subjects engaged in rural tourism. The literary review identified and described the basic concepts of multifunctional agriculture, green and rural/country tourism and agritourism, the differences between so-called hard and soft tourism was also explained. An assessment and inventory analysis were done based on data from a survey of the studied subjects / service providers. The hourly CO2 emission rate of services offered was assessed from the data and information obtained from the Ecoinvent database. At the same time, the basis for an indicative assessment of the economic efficiency of services was calculated.
Turismus ve venkovském prostoru - příklad obcí Švihov a Strážov

The main objective of the thesis was to find out current situation in tourism in two towns in Klatovy district and to compare these results with the potential of a place for tourism. Specifically, the towns were Strážov and Švihov, which are similar in population. The theoretical part contains the facts from literature related to tourism, rural area and rural tourism. In the research part both towns are characterized and these characteristics are supplemented with photos. The results of the survey for visitors and the results of the local inhabitants survey, as well as the interviews with the mayors are evaluated.
The perception of agrotourism in the selected regions of Czechia and Slovakia

The perception of agrotourism in selected region of Czechia and Slovakia Abstract This diploma thesis deals with agrotourism and its perception in the Ústecký and Košický regions. The aim of the study is to identify key perceptual indicators that influence the operation of agro-touristic activities in selected regions. For this reason, the diploma thesis focuses on the perception of tourists and owners of economic facilities that operate the given form of rural tourism. The diploma thesis consists of two main parts. At the beginning of the study there is a general entry into the subject, which purposefully serves to understand the basic terms and concepts of the selected topic. The second part is focused on the field survey aimed at questioning tourists in agro-tourism facilities through questionnaire surveys and on structured interviews with property owners. The research itself took place in the months of July and August of 2017 in selected economic facilities in the Ústecký and Košický Regions. The conclusion highlights major benefits, points to further possible work and identifies key perceptual factors and conflicts that have been shown to influence both the provision and use of agrotourism in both regions under consideration. Agritourism as a contribution to employment in rural areas

This diploma thesis deals with the study of the impact of agro-tourism on employment in rural areas. At first deals with the description of tourism, its basic species and forms. However, the greatest attention is paid to agrotourism, its history, development, negatives and positives, its significance and possible types. The following chapters are aimed at defining rural areas, describing subsidies that help to develop rural areas and also describing the diversification and multifunctionality of agriculture. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis is characterized the issue of employment, unemployment, its causes and impacts. It also provides information on the multiplying effect and the impact of tourism and agro-tourism on employment. The analytical part of the thesis is focused on the contribution of agro-tourism to employment in rural areas. The data needed for this analysis was obtained by means of a questionnaire survey conducted in the South Bohemian Region in agro-tourism farms and in the municipality where the farms belong. The result is that agro-tourism farmers provide other people with jobs on their farms, and thus partly contribute to the employment of the municipality. However, the greatest impact on the number of jobs offered by farms has a season. Agrotourism farms and their activities contribute to the overall development of rural areas, to a greater or lesser extent. And at a certain level they are also involved in the employment of rural municipalities.
Rural tourism in České Budějovice region

The bachelor's thesis "Agrotourism in the České Budějovice district" is an assessment of the current state of the offers of various types of agrotourism products in the world scale as well as from the point of view of the Czech Republic. Part of the thesis is also an assessment of the offer of agrotourism in the district of České Budějovice. In the final part there is an agrotourism project, with all aspects of its impact and appeal.

Gentle forms of tourism can be defined as tourism that focuses on nature, culture and historical wealth. The theoretical part includes a literary research focused on the description and geography of tourism, tourism psychology, motivation and travel experience. An important part is the issue of the negative impacts of tourism, where afterwards the gentle forms of tourism are highlighted. The presented work is focused mainly on the attractiveness of agrotourism as a form of leisure time, where it is mainly about the trace of public interest. Another, no less important goal is to find out the contribution of agro-tourism to the participants and the village, the attractiveness of the Šumava for visitors, the reason for the establishment of agrotourism farms and the support of the state.
