This bachelor thesis is focused on a new building of office building in Telc within Technology transfer center. The shape of the land is trapezoidal and it is located in immediate proximity of the 1st class road, Třebíčská street. There are some others buildings of varios function near – college, administrative houses, houses of production, hall of residence. Its top view is rounded, defined by four ring arcs. The building is gaining mass with its height. It is situated on the northeast side of an estate, plot of land No. 5782/1. There is a car park in front of the building. There are a space laboratory for research and development of biological stuff, spaces for administration and management and biogas plant controling centre inside. The dominant space is an entrance hall with a staircase. The staircase is solved in Part D - architectural detail.

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of crisis - the current issue in 2017. One of the issues is the need for the construction of a imigrant center in the Czech Republic. The locality in Brno was selected in Maloměřice. The location of the brownfield on the outskirts of the city district is used. The design is conceived as a closed block with two main diagonally inputs. The block is made up of two-storey buildings used for housing migrants. Within the block, there are two four-story buildings that serve as administration, maintenance, catering, education and leisure activities, ie all other activities except housing.

Sculptural Decoration of First Czechoslovak Republic's Administrative Buildings

We can consider the sculptural decoration of first Czechoslovak Republic's administrative buildings to be one of the typical manifestations of its time. In its iconography it translated to its contemporaries, as well as to the future generations, the basic ideological motives which the representative, artists and major part of the society considered to be the most important for the existence of the young democratic state. Their message is so clear that even today it can be understood. This thesis discusses in the first chapter the roots of basic iconographical circles (labor, working people) in the Czech art of the end of 19th and beginning of 20th century. Afterwards it focuses on the wider conditions of European art leading to the growing interests in realistic, neo-classical art and new objectivity. Following parts are aimed on arrival of civilism into the Czech interwar art scene and discuss the terms social art, social realism and social civilism and its possible use in the scope of sculptural decoration of administrative buildings. Then continues the overview of the most important iconographical motives which penetrated into the field of the sculptural decoration with special focus on the Czechoslovak pavilion at the International exhibition of decorative arts in Paris 1925. Analysis of Impacts of Contemporaty Society Requierements for a Future Use of Historical Buildings

The thesis is focused on contemporary society requierements for potential changes of historical buildings in the Prague historical centre. The goal is to analyse a contemporary status of trends and evaluate effects on historical prorperties in the Prague historical centre. The contemporary trends consist of different housing ideas, different work organisation and at least so called green buildings. There are significant consequences in to existing historical buildgs as new developments adapt such trends. For a harmonicous suistainable development it would be needed a compromise between economical, social and environmental interests. If it is not accomplished, the city will not be funcional.
