This bachelor thesis deals with the functional calculation of adjustable belt conveyor according to ISO 5048 with the required transport capacity 210 000 kg.h-1, axial distance 260 m and height difference 26 m. It includes analysis of the transported material, which is brown coal, including the list of alternative materials. The thesis also proposes designs of the conveyor frame for the required parameters.

The aim of the present bachelor thesis was to design a driving head for an adjustable belt conveyor intended for brown coal transportation. The entire drawing of the designed driving head and essential detailed drawings are included in this thesis.
