Determination of additives in multicomponent electrospinning systems
Gajdová, Barbora ; Petr, Knotek (referee) ; Knotková,, Kateřina (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with methods of producing nanofibres from mixture of different polymers. Different methods of preparation and production nanofibres by 4SPIN® are described in theoretical part. Experimental part deals with incorporation of additives into fibred layer. There were four different dyes used in this thesis: brilliant green, erythrosine, riboflavin and eriochrom black. UV – VIS spectrophotometry was used to measure volume of additives in nanofiber layer.
Oils for combustion engines
Dzurenda, Ján ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Maršálek, Ondřej (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with information search of the current state of knowledge in the field of lubrication of combustion motors, i.e. lubrication systems and oils for combustion motors. The introduction of work focuses on the issue of lubrication systems, theirs partitions by methods of lubrication and description of the main parts of the lubrication system. Next part is focused on the oils of motors. In this part is referred to division of motor oils, requirements for motor oils and characteristics of motor oils. Follow part describes issues associated with the lubrication of combustion motors. Part cites main factors that affect the properties of motor oils i.e. fuel, water, glycol and dirt. Further is processed problem of motor working i.e. temperature, amount and consumption of oil. The last part describes the issues of biodegradability and actual requirements of application for motor oils.
Homogenity of aditives in nanofibres
Linha, Vojtěch ; Pokorný,, Marek (referee) ; Knotková,, Kateřina (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to summarize basic options of fiber spinning and incorporation of additives. Options for nanofiber production by 4SPIN® are described along with particular electrodes for spinning in theoretical part. The experimental part was focused on influence of molecular structure of additives to incorporated volume of the substance. For this research four dye was used: erythrosine, riboflavin, briliant blue and eriochrom black. UV-Vis spectroscopy was used for evaluation of volume of aditives in nanofiber layer.
The combined effect of glass fibers and carbon as a negative electrode additive on the properties of the lead accumulator.
Bouška, Marek ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on a lead accumulator working in Partial State of Charge (PSoC) mode which is used in hybrid electric vehicles (HEV). Discussed topics are electric current source, hybrid electric vehicles or operation principle of a lead accumulator. The main task of this project is to examine the combined effect of glass fibers and carbon as an additive in negative active material and determine the most convenient combination which will improve properties of a lead accumulator working in PSoC.
Preparation and application of PHA based nanofibres and nanoparticles
Linha, Vojtěch ; Skoumalová, Petra (referee) ; Márová, Ivana (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to summarize basic options of fiber spinning and manufacturing and their usability in industry. Methods of nanofiber spinning are described in the teoretical part, alongside the materials used in experimental part. The experimental part was focused on creating of workflow of defined nanofibers in laboratory enviroment, the possible modification of nanofibers with aditives. The release of aditives from different nanofibers into different enviroments was measured.
Effect of pH on quantitative determination of additives in nanofibers
Grufíková, Jana ; Marek, Pokorný (referee) ; Knotková,, Kateřina (advisor)
The object of my thesis was to prepare a nanofiber layer with dye additives and to quantify the additive content in dependence on pH. The nanofiber layers with additives were prepared by means of electrospinning. The analysis of the additive content in samples was performed by UV-VIS spectrophotometry. Concretely Erythrosine, Eriochrome Black, Riboflavin and Brilliant Blue were analysed. Each of this colors has different chemical structure and charge. The pH was defined by use of buffers, namely acetate buffer (pH 5), phosphate buffer (pH 7,4) and carbonate buffer (pH 10). For Erythrosine and Eriochrome Black the research was extended to study the effect of ionic strength on the quantitative determination of these dyes. It was found that the quantity of the determined additive depends on the pH and also on the ionic strength. However, this dependency is different for each additive. This confirms the assumption of influenced chemical structure and charge by interaction with polymers and buffers used in this experiment. The accuracy of evaluation is influenced by the way of data processing.
Technologies of processing plastics
Skácel, Jan ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to summarize basics about technologies of processing plastics. The overview of technologies is made; polymers and additives are univocally compartmentalized and the inner structure of macromolecules is explained.
New electrode structures for alkaline accumulators
Fusek, Petr ; Novák, Vítězslav (referee) ; Vrbický, Jiří (advisor)
Master´s thesis is focused on development of electrodes used in alcaline accumulators, by using new kinds of materials and compounds. Basic possitive eletrode was made of nickel, on this electrode were applied new layers of Ni(OH)2 by using the method called electrodeposition. For electrodeposition was used solution with Ni(NO3)2 in diverse concentrations. Later on, this material was enriched with aluminium admixtures to increase stability of alfa modification in Ni(OH)2. These concentrations were measured and analysed in diagrams. For measurement was used device Biologic. The diagrams were commented with recommendations for production use in accumulators.
An overview of industrial oils
Ondrouch, Dušan ; Ficza, Ildikó (referee) ; Šperka, Petr (advisor)
Methods of production of base oils and their branching are described in the introduction of the thesis. Essential properties, which are the prime aspect of diversification of particular oils, are described in the following part. Commonly used additives, which adjust properties of base oils, are outlined thereafter. The last part of the thesis deals with industrial applications and requirements, which are set for particular application.
Additives effect on electrical properties of the epoxy resins
Šebesta, Petr ; Kazelle, Jiří (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
Work was carried out in collaboration with SYNPO, Inc. Pardubice, which provided samples resins with various additives for measurement. The work is divided into three theoretical and one practical chapters. The first chapter focuses on dielectrics in general. It deals with their properties and storyline running in them. The second chapter discusses epoxy resins, their formulation, production and application in manufacturing. The third chapter offers a view of the measurement methods used for diagnosing electrical dielectrics. The practical part describes the preparation of samples and their composition, and consequently their measurement with the evaluation of measurement data.
