Stimulation of strength skills through intervention gymnastics program for people with spinal cord impairment

Title: Stimulation of strength skills through intervation gymnastic program for people with spinal cord impairment Objectives: The target of the work is to determine the degree of effectiveness of the newly created gymnastic program mediated to probands online, to the level of strength of the upper body and upper limbs of people with spinal cord injury. Methods: The research will be conducted in the form of a quasi-experiment with pre- testing and post-testing measuring. Used data collection methods included field testing, timed 100m dash in a wheelchair and 2kg weight throw and a questionaire. Analysis of found data has been done via descriptive statistics. Results: Results of post-testing showed that upon completion of a six-week interventional program, individuals with spinal cord impairment increased their strength levels in field tests. In the first field test, there was a slight percentage improvement of 5.9%. In the second field test, there was an overall mean percentage improvement of 10.9%. On average, probands improved by 8.4%, a slight to moderate improvement. The questionaires also showed that the trainees enjoyed the provided program. Implementation of project activities into the teaching of regular subjects in adapted physical activity

Name: Implementation of project activities into the teaching of regular subjects of Adapted Physical Activity. Objective: The aim of the thesis is finding out the current state of implementation of project activities into the teaching of regular subjects of APA, examining the students experience with project-based learning, their opinion on project-based learning and the impact of project- based learning on students and their professional and personal life. Furthermore, to present opinions, ideas, experiences, comments and perspectives of students to practising pedagogues and professional public in order to improve attitude to project activities in APA. Methods: We will use theoretical qualitative research phenomenological conception. To achieve our objectives was used a literary analysis, which introduces theoretical bases in relation to APA, pedagogy and philosophy and self-opinion survey containing 46 closed and open questions focused on experience, opinion and attitude towards project-based learning among 15 contemporary and former students of APA who were intentionally selected. Title: Personal assistence in the study program of Adapted physical activity. Objective: The object of this bechelor thesis is teaching of foundations of personal assitence in other specialized subjects at Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in study programe Sport/physical activity and program of Adapted physical activity. The aim of this thesis is find out the current level, searching for possibilities to improve it and reaction of participant of workshop. Methods: The qualitative research include structure of education program and its evaluation. Used data were collected by a self-opinion survey and half-structured interview. The quantitative research include the main topic of this thesis in diferent correlations. In the research part of the thesis are theoretical basis in correlation betwen personal assistence and study of Adapted physical activity. In the research part of this work 34 students of Adapted physical activity (1-4 semester) attend education program of personal assistence and thereafter answer the survey. In my Bachelor´s theses I focus on the questions of physically and mentally handicapped persons. The first part of my theoretical work deals with the typology and etiology of physical and mental disability in general. The second part of my work describes the practical use of the integrated system of rehabilitation in the children´s center ARPIDA in České Budějovice which provides care for disabled persons. The last chapter of my work focuses on the particular forms of recreation and adepted physical activity to support the integration of handicapped persons.The practical part of my bachelor´s theses applies to the preparation and implementation of a winter one-week rehabilitative stay for the client of the ARPIDA center. In my theses I used the quantitative research as the basic research method. The principal technique of the data collection was an anonymous questionnaire
