The aim of the project is to analyze Santini's work and to apply the acquired knowledge in the context of the town of Žďár nad Sázavou, where a significant part of the architect's portfolio is located. The result is a pavilion design that symbolically connects two separate parts of the city through their characteristic values.

Pilgrimage church of St. John of Nepomuk at Zelená Hora in Žďár nad Sázavou is a UNESCO heritage site. It is visited annually by 30 000 visitors and this number increases each year. Alas, the site does not have proper funding and care that would match the huge tourist attendance. My bachelor’s paper is focusing on topic of improving the conditions of this site for both employees and visitors. Program of my proposal consists of improving and prolonging the tourist experience at this site, using caffés, museums and/or lecture theatre. It is imperative for these improvements to take in mind the complex style and form of this site. The style is influenced by the way in which Santini designed the site using circles. I was inspired for my work by Santini’s grid of circles and contemporary architectural styles, such as architectural field and grid (P. Eisenmann), object oriented onthopogy, mereology (G.Retsin) or 2nd Digital Turn (mario Carpo). This allows us to create complex geometric architecture, which uses the fact, that it does not burden the area and environment after it’s been constructed. Parts of the complex are going to be raised from the Zelená Hora hill itself, so it appears to be a part of the hill.
Fates of the Castle of Zelená Hora during the 20th Century
Barochová, Jana ; Županič, Jan (advisor) ; Dvořáková, Markéta (referee)
During its whole existence, Green Mountain castle played an important role in the history of our country. At the opening part this bachelor's thesis describes and explaines the methodology of work, than it is concerned with the oldest and also the later history of the castle. The principal part of the thesis affects the inflictions adherent to quite recent events that fatally touched the object in the course of the twentieth century. The social and political conversions that came in the twentieth century at the territory of our republic mirror clearly in the fate of the castle (birth of the Czechoslovakia, the World War II, the rise of the communist regime, the velvet revolution …). In the end the work deals with an actual state of the Green Mountain. Keywords: Green Mountain castle, Nepomuk, the Auerspergs, Black Barons, Army.

Behenská, Radka ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Županič, Jan (referee)
The aim of the work is to introduce readers to the life of a member of lesser nobility - Jan Jenisek of Ujezd and Svrcovec. Information was obtained by processing of economic and business notes which were recorded by Jan Jenisek between the years 1550 and 1552. The notes represent unique source for exploration of everyday life and work. Readers are given the opportunity to find out how legal disputes were solved, how farming, breeding and trading of commodities was conducted. Important part of the thesis is also the picture of Jan Jenisek himself, his character and relations with members of all society classes.
