WiFi AP with ad-hoc functionality and posibility for use in enviroment with an explosive atmosphere
Vrlík, Martin ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This work explains development of device which is being designed for aplication in an environment with an explosive atmosphere. In each chapter there will be explained result and step by step progress of developing this device. Then there will be description of function and used parts in completed device. At the begining there will be parameters which we have to acomplish to ensure the ability of device to be used in explosive atmosphere. At the end there will be described a selection of suitable operating system.
Design of enterprise IEEE 802.11 wireless networks
Hlavatý, Josef ; Kubánková, Anna (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focus on wireless networks standardized as IEEE 802.11 and their use in wide wireless networks. Wireless transmissions and most known accessories of standard IEEE 802.11 and their functions are theoretically discussed in the first part of the bachelor thesis. Next, bachelor thesis takes care of architecture of vast wireless networks, their division into cells and centralized management of cells and individual AP. Further, security and authentication in wide wirreless networks is described. The second part of bachelor work is formed from detailed manual for execution of wide wireless networks, from which laboratory task is built for subject Network Architecture.
Wireless sensor networks for environmental monitoring
Mizera, Josef ; Červenka, Vladimír (referee) ; Morávek, Patrik (advisor)
his work is focused on usability of wireless sensor networks for monitoring environment. Wireless sensor networks are used more and more for this purposes. This technology has great advantages in comparison with cable networks, mainly in difficulty of their realization. This work contains a description of wireless sensor networks, norms and specifications used for these networks. Requirements on software processing data from sensors and how the signal is distributed. There are examples of applications where wireless networks are used. The reasons why these networks began to be used and in what way they eased the work in such area or problems that are solved by these networks. In the last part of my work is a design of application for monitoring of forest fires in area of Komonec by using wireless sensor networks where it should be beneficial.
Thermostat data acquisition and processing system
Trizna, Lukáš ; Klusáček, Jan (referee) ; Pikula, Stanislav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a system for monitoring and evaluating data from temperature sensors during thermostat testing in thermal chambers. The designed solution involves an extension of the G35 processor software by additional remote monitoring setting screens. An UDP SysLog client at the G25 processor forwards messages from G35 processor to an UDP SysLog server. The server is implemented by an application running on a PC written in C# language. The thermal data are saved to a file and drawn in a graph by the application. The designed system is used as a part of the thermostat development in the Honeywell s. r. o. company. The system enables test automation, helps the operator and provides immediate feedback about the running tests.
