Identification of Network Applications from Encrypted Communications
Šafář, Radim ; Dolejška, Daniel (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is creation of tool that is able to detect applications from encrypted traffic using machine learning. Data source for clasification are network flows captured with tool Suricata, not the entire content of communication. Main source are TLS handshakes, which are able to be fingeprinted with fingerprints JA3 or JA4 making flows easier to identify. Thesis also addresses the issue of JA4 not being implemented in used tools. For clasification is used library ML.NET which makes the process of creating a model easier.
Simulace pohybu mobilního zařízení v ruce člověka
Hák, Marek ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Hranický, Radek (advisor)
Web browsers give websites access to motion sensors on mobile devices such as phones and tablets. The shared sensor data can be exploited to track and identify users. The JShelter browser extension provides protection against such exploitation of motion data by passing fake values. However, these values simulate a stationary device, which can lead to detection of the simulation. The goal of this thesis is to create a simulation that will generate believable device motion in the hands of a human. Prior to the design, sensor data analysis and exploration of motion simulation methods were conducted. Sets of parameters generated by a genetic algorithm are used for motion generation. The resulting solution was incorporated into the JShelter extension and experiments showed good results and performance of the solution.
Web Browsers
Samec, Radek ; Pokorný, Pavel (advisor) ; Vlnas, Pavel (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to give an insight into the current situation in the market of web browsers. The thesis describes their history and development and also offers a glimpse into the future. For testing are selected browsers that currently occupy a decisive market share. Testing takes place in areas such as compliance with web standards, speed, security, user interface and the customization. Each browser is tested for functionality of faculty information systems. The thesis deals with the versions of browsers for mobile devices and also the problems with add-ons. An important part of the thesis is a statistical survey about usage of web browsers by faculty students.
Belief in the Internet and Critical Thinking
Krejčí, Aleš
The present-day young generation routinely use the Internet as readily available source of facts, entertainment and communication. Everyday life creates a belief in the acquired information, its freshness and quality. Comfortable working with keywords and search engines further strengthens this belief, although the information may be outdated and the sources questionable. The blind faith in the Internet infected some university students, even in higher classes, where we should expect and require a significant degree of analytical thinking and critical approach. The more it applies to marketing communication students who need to acquire much deeper insight at the forms and mechanisms of media and information environment. The author shows by the results his research that even among students of this branch the situation is far from ideal. Lecturers need to educate independently and critically thinking graduates, whether the development of information technologies will bring anything.

Differences between HTML-5 and HTML-4
Kupka, Jaromír ; Tichý, Vladimír (advisor) ; Kosek, Jiří (referee)
The Bachelor thesis discusses the problem of HTML, in the concrete it discusses differences between HTML-5, which is getting ready, and HTML 4.01, which is the actual version. The work is separate into two parts -- the theoretical and the practical. The goal of the theoretical part is to find out the actual situation in the development of HTML-5 and to depict the new elements of HTML-5. The goal of practical part is to find out if web browsers are reacting on the new elements of HTML-5 and how do they do it, because web browsers'authors advise the implementation of elements in HTML-5.
Password Management Systems
Fiala, Lukáš ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Gála, Libor (referee)
The goal is to describe and compare password management utilities and applications for individuals or small teams. Examples of such applications are KeePass, Password Safe, CodeWallet Pro and eWallet. On-line password managers like LastPass or RoboForm are another group of applications. Support for synchronization, sharing passwords in a team or protection against keyloggers (when filling in automatically) may also be included in the criteria.
