Computer design of the small CATV
Sedláček, Jan ; Slanina, Martin (referee) ; Říčný, Václav (advisor)
Main task of this bachelor’s thesis is to create an interactive automatic programme for designing circuits of individual or small common television aerial. The first part of this document describes main conceptions distribution of television signals, parameters of coaxial cable and also some kinds of signals distortion. There are described some important mathematics formulas used for calculation of coaxial cable attenuation and carrier to noise distance important for computing function of programme. The second part describes a procedure of designing of television cable circuit of individual or small common television aerial and includes prototypal calculation of two real circuits and its comparison with results of computer calculation by which correct function of programme is verified. A part of this document is also made by detailed description of programme and its functions. Source code of created programme is included in the end of this document.
Present situation on civilian & military aeronautical use of the 108 - 137 MHz frequency band
Vidoň, Václav ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the summary and description of navigation and communication devices serving air navigation services in the frequency band 108 - 137 MHz. It also describes the technical specifications and the function of these individual devices, as well as the brief history and development that has been undergoing since they were put into operation.
Antenna for broadband impulse signal
Smutný, Martin ; Kořínek,, Tomáš (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
The thesis describes retrievals of broadband antennas for VHF and UHF. It focuses on a compact antenna, potentially suitable for detecting electromagnetic impulses generated by electrical discharges in the dielectric oil in power transformers. This pulse signals are very steep with hundreds pico seconds rising edge. The thesis presents basic characteristics of antennas and selects those which have a major influence on the possibility of using the antenna in selected application. The appropriate antena is selected and proposal its geometrical parameters is discussed. The geometry of the selected antenna is designed for working bandwidth from about 200 MHz to about 1000 MHz. The newly designed double discon antenna is simulated and dimensions are optimized. Antenna is made and key characteristics of the antenna important for evaluate the ability of detecting the above-identified pulsed signals is measured. Antenna is compared with gain and characteristic of monocone antenna. Acquired knowledge and measured data are evaluated.
GBAS interconnection and testing
Polok, Zbyszek ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problem of GNSS. The document will attempt to illustrate some possible sources of error and their corrections. The main characteristics of SBAS and GBAS are described. The aim of this work is to design GBAS interconnection
Exploatation of VHF, UHF, SHF, and EHF frequency bands in civil & military aeronautic radars (handbook)
Jasimová, Rafah ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
The aim of presented bachelor thesis is produce study aid on the topic Exploitation of VHF, UHF, SHF, and EHF frequency bands in civil and military aeronautical radars. The main aim of this thesis is to brief overview of specified frequency bands for air communication and radio navigation. The thesis is to serve as a study aid for the preparation of professional pilots and bachelors of air traffic.
